In recent years,economic development and advances in science and technology have brought about increasingly profound changes in the market,and competition has become fiercer.The diversification of business operations and the individuation and diversification of customer needs have led to the existence of multiple projects in normal operation,which has brought impacts on traditional project management concepts and has raised higher requirements for the multi-project management level of the company.When enterprises implement multiple projects,they will inevitably encounter various types of conflicts,among which resource conflicts have the greatest impact on the smooth operation of the project.Therefore,how to describe and analyze the resource conflict in multi-project management in order to timely and effectively dissolve resource conflicts has become an important issue in the field of multi-project management research.Based on the research of theory and literature of multi-project resource management,resource conflict,Petri net and so on,this paper focuses on multi-project resource conflict modeling and resource conflict resolution,including the following two parts:(1)A multi-project resource conflict Petri net modeling method is proposed.First of all,it describes the problems of multi-project resource conflicts and analyzes the characteristics of multi-project resource conflicts.Secondly,Resource Conflict Petri Net(RCPN)containing resource elements was designed to describe the concurrency relationships and resource conflict situations among multiple projects.According to the functional requirements,the place was divided into five types and the transition was divided into three types.The given meaning,rules,and corresponding parameters enhance the Petri net's ability to describe and analyze multi-project resource conflicts;Then we propose a accessibility analysis method of resource conflict Petri net,which can be used to test whether the model is correct and reasonable;Finally,the rationality and validity of the resource conflict Petri nets model(RCPN)can be verified by using examples.(2)Formulating a multi-project resource conflict resolution method.In order to resolve resource conflicts in the process of multi-project management,this chapter proposes a multi-project resource conflict management system model.First,we classify the events that cause resource conflicts.Second,we describe the conflicts on the basis of the resource conflict Petri nets proposed in Chapter 3.The situations can be classified according to the degree of impact of resource conflicts on projects and activities.The classification provides an important reference for selecting reasonable methods for resolving resource conflicts;Then,two methods based on genetic algorithm-based global resolution and Petri net-based local resolution were proposed to deal with different types of resource conflicts.Finally,examples were given to illustrate the applicability of the two methods and to prove the effectiveness of the method.The resource conflict Petri net proposed in this paper is suitable for the description and analysis of multi-project resource conflict,which lays a foundation for the resolution of multi-project resource conflicts.The proposed resource conflict resolution method not only considers the dynamics of resource conflicts during project implementation,but also systematic analysis of the impact of resource conflicts.The methods can rationally resolve resource conflicts generated from multi-project management processes,ensure the smooth implementation of the company's various schedules,and improve the level of enterprise multi-project management.
