Land is the fundamental guarantee for human life, and the healthy development of human society cannot be separated from the land. However, with the rapid social and economic development in our country, problems such as land damage and soil pollution have become increasingly serious.Especially in coal mining area, with the expansion of the scale and intensity of coal mining, the ecological problems caused by cumulative effect and lagged effect are even more serious. In China,90% of the coal resources are distributed in the early-dry and semi-dry climate zones in the mainland. The coverage of these vegetations is low,and the ecological environment is very fragile.Unreasonably overstretching coal resources may cause more serious ecological dilemma. To this end,in the rational exploitation of coal resources,real-time rehabilitation of damaged land is crucial to maintain the sustainable development of the land in the mining area.Land use benefit is an important manifestation of sustainable land use. Therefore, evaluating the comprehensive benefits of land use in mining area will help promote the coordinated exploitation of mineral resources and the land resource.Based on this, this thesis firstly analyzed the impact factors of land use benefit in mining area and built an evaluation index system for comprehensive benefits of land use in coal mining area. And the method of mechanics analysis was used to establish a method system for evaluating the comprehensive benefits of land use in the mining area. Then, taking the Shuonan mining area in Shanxi Province as an example, the time series data of land use in mining area between 2010 and 2015 were used to evaluate the spatial-temporal differences and change law of land use benefit in the mining area. Finally, from the perspective of space-time,this thesis analyzed the economic benefit, social benefit, ecological benefit, and comprehensive benefits of land use in mining area before and after the exploitation of coal resources. The study draw the following conclusions:(1)The exploitation of coal resources is the source of land use change in mining areas,it caused and accelerated the change of land use in the mining area, which has exacerbated the expansion of construction land in the mining area. With the exploitation of coal resources, the social and economic benefits of land use have contributed to the comprehensive benefits from weak to strong, while the ecological benefit of land use have contributed to the comprehensive benefits from strong to weak and even to negative, and the role of ecological benefit lags behind eco-social benefits by 1-2 years, basically in line with the life cycle law of land resources in mining area.(2)At the same time, there is obvious spatial heterogeneity in the land use benefit in the mining area.On the one hand, before and after the exploitation of coal resources, the Moran'I index of the land use benefit in the mining area was greater than 0.8,indicating a positive global spatial autocorrelation relationship, the land use benefit of the mining area shows spatial agglomeration, low – low aggregation areas of ecological benefit and high-high aggregation areas of economic benefit all move to the production areas, and high-highaggregation areas of social benefits are is not significant affected by damaged land.(3)On the other hand, under the space replacement influence of coal mining, driven by coal mining, processing, and related industries, although the social and economic benefits of construction land such as villages and towns in the mining areas have been continuously improved, the comprehensive benefits have been reduced due to the impact of the destruction of the ecology and environment, and it is consistent with the space-time scope of coal mining. In 2015,the total area of four-level comprehensive benefits of land use increased by 3377.25 hectares compared with 2010.In addition, the development of economic benefit, social benefit, ecological benefit and comprehensive benefits of land use in all regions of the mining area are not fully synchronous. It can be seen that the increasing economic and social benefits of land use in mining areas benefits from the exploitation of coal resources. However, with the expansion of the scale and intensity of coal mining, the comprehensive benefits in mining areas are not continuously increasing or even decreasing.based on optimization of comprehendsive benefits, this thesis verifies that the exploitation of coal resources should be rationally, and comprehensive land consolidation should be carried out in a timely manner, and measures for ensuring the sustainable development of coal mining areas be proposed.
