In the twenty-first century,a powerful corporate strength is embodied in excellent corporate culture more than in high-quality products and services,scientific management and production,first-class marketing and brand.As a result,more and more companies are paying great importance to corporate culture and are getting to explore the construction of corporate culture continually.However,whether the research of the theory or the research of the practice of corporate culture started relatively later in China than they did in the West,and it leads to a fact that there isn't a relatively mature theoretic system or a relatively market-leading construction mode in corporate culture.Therefore,it has become a major issue for companies of all kinds to construct and improve corporate culture further and give full play to the powerful functions of corporate culture.Especially,as China's economy has stepped into a new era,the competition of consumption market is getting fiercer and fiercer.Under this context,as a company in the retail industry which is a major subject of the consumption market,the survival and development of A Company is facing an environment where opportunities and challenges coexist.So,in order to develop and expand gradually in the severe market circumstances,A Company also needs to reinforce the construction of corporate culture to seize the opportunities and overcome the challenges faced.Having adopted such methods as literature research,survey study and comparative research,the paper analyzes and summarizes the status quo of corporate culture of A Company in a way combining qualitative and quantitative analysis,and comes up with some solutions to the problems existed in the construction of corporate culture correspondingly.Firstly,starting with relevant theories about corporate culture,the paper straightens out and analyzes the research findings of corporate culture both domestically and overseas.Secondly,the paper,through questionnaire survey and on-the-spot interview,makes a comprehensive analysis of the status quo of corporate cultural construction in A Company from the following four aspects: spiritual culture,system culture,behavior culture and material culture.At the same time,the paper sums up and analyzes its main problems accordingly,which generally includes the weak effectiveness of the spiritual culture,the bad implementing effect of the system culture,the insufficient connotation of behavior culture and the fewer carriers of the material culture,etc.Then,guided by some principles of corporate cultural construction and referring to the findings of domestic and oversea research of corporate culture,the paper puts forward some countermeasures to optimize the construction from the above-mentioned four aspects of corporate culture,namely,to enhance the refining,designing and educating of the spiritual culture,to optimize the structure and management systems in system culture,to reinforce the behavior demonstration and organizational competiveness,harmony and adhesiveness,to broaden the carriers and publicity in material culture.At last,the paper also suggests some measures to safeguard the construction of corporate culture in A Company,namely,to build a favorable and harmonious atmosphere of reform,to establish a robust mechanism of leadership and organization,to improve an effective mechanism of evaluation and motivation,to set up a matched system of fund guarantee.In a word,the paper is written to offer a referential value to A Company in constructing corporate culture,thus prompting the company to develop better as well as quicker.Meanwhile,the paper also hopes to have a reference value in cultural construction over companies which are in the same industry and development stage as A Company.
