Under the environment that China's economy has maintained a steady growth in recent years,many private,small and medium-sized enterprises have sprung up and contributed important forces to China's economic development.They have also solved employment problems to a large extent,and a group of small and medium-sized enterprises with core technologies and research and development(R&D)capabilities have gradually emerged as leaders in certain industries.This type of enterprise has flexible operation mode,sharp market insight,strong technological innovation ability and rapid development speed.More importantly,the workforce of science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises is generally of high quality and younger age.The level of academic qualifications from grassroots employees to top management is much higher than that of other types of enterprises,and their average age is relatively low,which makes them highly creative and entrepreneurial.However,the science and technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises also face a thorny issue-the brain drain problem is serious and the turnover rate is too high.Different from large-scale enterprises,small and medium-sized enterprises have more unstable factors in their organizational structure and development trajectory.They tend to be less mature than large-scale enterprises in management,and they lack a more scientific and comprehensive system in employee management.Coupled with the younger employees and industry characteristics,the problem of brain drain is very easy to emerge and becomes a major factor hindering growth and development of the company.In view of this phenomenon,this paper takes the science and technology-based small medium-sized-enterprise Zhimei Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.as an example to start research.Through the data obtained from questionnaires and interviews,this article analyzes the main causes of the brain drain of Zhimei Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.from the perspectives of health care factor and incentive factor.From the analysis results,the reasons for the brain drain of Zhimei Science and Technology Co.,Ltd.are mainly due to the following aspects: The company's internal management system is not perfect,the enforcement is not enough,the remuneration system is not complete,the good corporate culture is not established,the work environment is not good,the responsibility and power during the work process is inconsistent,the employee promotion system is imperfect,the company does not conduct career planning for its employees,etc.All these have led to an insufficient space for the growth and development of the employees,and there is a problem of the mismatch between the personal characteristics of employees and the posts they are engaged in.This paper proposes countermeasures for problems found in research and analysis,namely,perfecting the enterprise management system,establishing a complete compensation system and welfare system,improving the working environment,establishing a good corporate culture,establishing a reasonable rewards and punishments and promotion mechanism in accordance with the principle of reciprocal responsibility.In addition,the company must reasonably plan employees careers and strengthen internal communication to rationalize work according to the expertise of the employees.Finally,I hope that this study will provide references for the same type of small and medium-sized enterprises to solve the problem of employee turnover.
