The Impact Of Business Relational Capital On Technological Innovation Performance

In the era of knowledge economy,having the key knowledge resources decides whether the enterprise can maintain competitive strength in the fierce market competition.But only by relying on the knowledge resources it owns knowledge resources cann't meet the demand of the rapid development of enterprises.By identifying and integrating external knowledge resources to carry out technological innovation has become the mainstream paradigm for enterprise technological innovation under the complex external environment.As an important guarantee for enterprises to identify,acquire,share and integrate knowledge resources,enterprise relationship capital is inimitable and ifficult to be replaced.Through the construction of rich relationship capital can greatly promote the flow of knowledge resources,bring valuable knowledge to enterprises and apply these new knowledge to the development of new products,so as to improve the level of technological innovation of enterprises.Therefore,this paper takes high-tech enterprise as the object of research and discuss the the relationship between enterprise relationship capital and technological innovation performance and analyzes the importance of knowledge absorption ability emphatically.Based on the theory of technological innovation,relational capital and knowledge management,this paper constructs a theoretical model of the impact of enterprise relationship capital and technological innovation performance under the mediating effect of knowledge absorption ability.Specifically,this study divides enterprise relational capital into external relational capital: cognitive trust,external communication and knowledge conflict management,internal relationship capital:emotional trust,internal communication and interpersonal conflict management.Similary,the knowledge absorption ability is divided into actual absorptive capacity : knowledge recognition and knowledge transfer and potential absorptive capacity:knowledge sharing and knowledge application.This paper takes high-tech enterprises of Jiangsu Province as the research object and collects the sample data by mail and questionnaire.In the process of data processing,we mainlyuse the methods of reliability analysis,validity analysis and regression analysis.Through empirical research,this paper draws the following conclusions: all three dimemsion of external relational capital has significant positive important on the performance of technological innovation;all three dimemsion of internal relational capital has significant positive important on the performance of technological innovation;external relationship capital of enterprises has significant positive important on knowledge identification ability and knowledge transfer ability;internal relationship capital of enterprises has significant positive important on knowledge sharing ability and knowledge application ability;knowledge identification ability and knowledge transfer ability play a significant mesmeric role between external relational capital and innovation capability;knowledge identification ability and knowledge transfer ability play a significant mesmeric role between internal relational capital and innovation capability.Through the empirical research results,this paper puts forward the following management suggestions:(1)maintain and improve high trust;(2)keep internal communication channels smootly,break down communication barriers and establish an efficient communication platform;(3)take the initiative to form an enterprise culture on learning,strengthen the training about knowledge management theory and improve the level of knowledge absorbing ability.
