Research On Job Burnout Of Employees In Zhongyuan Expressway H Branch

With the increasingly fierce competition in the society and the increasing work pressure of employees,the problem of job burnout has become more and more prominent.In the past 40 years,burnout has become one of the hotspots in the research of human resource management.At present,the research is concentrated on teachers,doctors and civil servants,but there are few studies on the job burnout of employees in the expressway industry.In this paper,the MBI-GS burnout scale is used to measure the job burnout status of 134 employees in Zhongyuan Expressway H branch,and one-on-one interviews are conducted with 9 representative employees.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)The job burnout of H branch employees is at a medium level,especially in the dimension of depersonalization and emotional exhaustion.The job burnout of employees in Branch H is manifested in the decline of employees' physical health,negative psychological state,lack of motivation,and reduced self-worth.(2)Factors affecting the job burnout of employees in H branch include: personal factors(marital status,job status,age and working years),job characteristics(workload and work environment),organizational characteristics(development space and organizational fairness).(3)Based on the status quo and influencing factors of employees' job burnout in Zhongyuan Expressway H Branch,targeted management suggestions are proposed from three levels: individual,organization and society.The research results have positive significance for broadening the field of burnout research,and provide useful reference for the highway management and operation companies of the same nature to improve job burnout.
