There are many subtle and complex differences in terms of semantic and syntactic between "gang","ganggang" and "gangcai",which are often wrongly used by learners who take Chinese as a second language in their learning process.Firstly,this paper analyzes "gang","ganggang" and "gangcai",and points out the differences of subjective and objective perspectives and syntactic functions of these three words.Then on the basis of predecessors' research,a questionnaire was designed.Results showed that the accuracy of the three words from high to low is:"gangcai">"gang">"ganggang",the error rate from high to low is:"ganggang">"gang">"gangcai".The proportion of the four error types in the total errors is:omitting>miss replacing>miss ordering>miss adding.Comparing the different levels of Chinese,it is found that the error rate of "gang","ganggang" and "gangcai"has decreased with the improvement of Chinese level.Among them,the error rate of"gang" decreased the most.At the same time,the corpus of foreign students' written corpus in Jinan University was analyzed and compared with the results of the questionnaire.The differences are mainly reflected in:firstly,compared with the results of questionnaire survey,the results of corpus research show that these three words have higher accuracy and lower error rate.Secondly,the error rate of questionnaire survey from high to low is:"ganggang">"gang">"gangcai",The error rate detected by corpus from high to low is:"gangcai">"ganggang">"gang".There is a big difference in the error rate of "gangcai".Thirdly,corpus research results show that the proportion of the four errors types is similar,but the questionnaire survey results show that the proportion of the errors of omitting and miss replacing is much higher than the other two types of errors.The main reason for the difference is the difference of Chinese level and the country distribution.After analysis,it is found that the causes of errors mainly include the following aspects:negative influence of the mother language,negative effects of the target language,learning strategies and communication strategies,and the influence of learning environment etc.In the end,we put forward several teaching methods.It is expected to solve the problems in students' learning and improve teaching effect by graded teaching,strengthening the words contrast,and the targeted training.
