The source text of this translation practice report is taken from the journal Thinking Skills and Creativity,which belongs to educational papers.This paper mainly introduces the evaluation method of critical thinking and the teaching method of critical thinking.Some pedagogical and psychological words appear in this paper,it also contain a large number of long sentences,and the cohesive features of the text are distinct.Therefore,during the process of translation,the translator examines a large number of materials,determines the translation of professional words,analyzes the sentence patterns of long sentences,translates them by means of deconstruction and inverse translation,etc.This paper explores the textual cohesion methods in the original text,and puts forward the translation methods of referential cohesion,structural cohesion and logical cohesion.The purpose of this translation practice is to help domestic teachers and students learn from the evaluation forms of critical thinking in foreign countries,and to provide reference for the translation of similar texts.
