Mood adverbs are the most complex category of modern Chinese adverbs.T his paper makes a comparative study of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and "Ganghao"(??)in "fit" type of mood adverbs.It mainly summarize s and analyses the differences and expressions of these three adverbs from three aspects:semantics,syntax and pragmatics.On the basis of ontological research,t his paper makes an analysis of the types of errors and their causes in foreign st udents'acquisition of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and "Ganghao"(??).Aiming at the characteristics of error analysis and three modal adverb s,we put forward teaching suggestions and teaching design,which can effectivel y combine class teaching with theoretical research.This paper can be divided int o six parts as follows:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the significance of this st udy,and summarizes the previous studies on modal adverbs and "coincidence" ty pe modal adverbs.Finally,it explains the research methods adopted and the sour ce of corpus.In the second part,the dictionary definitions of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiaha o "(??)and "Ganghao"(??)are summarized,and their three semantic ch aracteristics,namely[+subjectivity],[+coincidence]and[+anticipation],are also a nalyzed on the basis of this.The third part analyses the grammatical expressions of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and "Ganghao"(??),studies their syntactic distribution,a nd investigates the combination of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and"Ganghao"(??)with other words.In the aspect of syntactic distribution,altho ugh they are often between subject and predicate,they can also be placed at the beginning of a sentence,but when they are placed at the beginning of a senten ce,"Zhenghao"(??)emphasizes more the coincidence of "right" time point or opportunity,while "Qiahao"(??)contains progressive tone and function,wh ile"Ganghao"(??)focuses more on the opportunity,degree of coincidence o r the impartiality of events.In terms of the ability of combination,this paper m ainly makes a comparison among the three,that is,"Qiahao"(??)cannot be combined with the negative word "no";that is,"Qiahao”(??)+"De"(?)+that verbs express human coincidence;that "Ganghao"(??)can not be used with "Zui"(?);and that the three can choose the rule of verbs.The fourth part mainly investigates the pragmatic features of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and "Ganghao"(??),and analyses their distribu tion of sentence types and styles.In the distribution of sentence types,only "Qia hao"(??)cannot be used in interrogative sentences(rhetorical questions);in the distribution of the three styles,"Zhenghao"(??)is the most frequently us ed,but the proportion of written language is higher than that of spoken language;the frequency of "Qiahao"(??)is the lowest,and the proportion of writte n language is much larger than that of spoken language;and the proportion of"Ganghao"(??)in spoken language is higher than that in written language.In the fifth part,based on HSK dynamic corpus of Beijing Language and C ulture University,the dynamic writing of foreign students in the process of learni ng Chinese are analyzed and sorted out.Four common types of errors are summ arized and the reasons of the errors are analyzed.The sixth part mainly gives the teaching suggestions of "Zhenghao"(??),"Qiahao"(??)and "Ganghao"(??)as well as the specific classroom te aching design.
