Research On Resident Participation In Shanghai Urban Community Governance

In the process of our country's urban community construction,the government and private residents are all play roles in community management,but the two forces are not have the same effect,the demand comes from the residents is obviously below the government's push,a lot of research and experience also suggests that the participation and awareness to participate of community residents in China's urban city are in sever deficiencies,which will hindered the further development of community building.In order to better cope with the rapid development of the socialist market economy,and the diversification trend of community governance body and interests,to better play the role of community participation to promote community governance,activate the function of community autonomy,explore the problem of residents participation in urban community governance,it not only has become everybody's a consensus,but also the difficulty and key point in the research of the current community,which is also the urgent needs of the residents participate in development theory and the practice exploration.This paper takes the residents' participation in the community governance of Caohejing street as the breakthrough point,focusing on the collection of practical experiences of residents in community participation in the streets,explores the present situation and level of residents' participation in the urban community governance through the perspective of sociology,theoretically analyzes the basic elements and characteristics of community residents' participation in urban city,that is,under the background of new era,profound changes have taken place in the main body,content and methods of urban community residents' participation,presents the number of residents' participation behavior significantly increased,the content changed from participate in part to full participation and involves various aspects of community governance,the participated way showed a trend of organization and coordination,and passive participation gradually turns into active participation.The paper refers to the existing practice and research results at home and abroad,puts forward the countermeasures of promoting residents participate in community governance,including the innovation of community management system mode,promotes the development of community organizations and the training of residents participation, which is an effective way to expand residents to participate in.This paper has important theoretical significance to enhance the consciousness of the residents of the community and civic consciousness,increase the degree of residents to participate in community governance.
