Research On Public Participation In Urban Governance In My Country

In the new era and new era,the development of cities is changing with each passing day,and various problems and contradictions are prominent.It is impossible to solve these problems through the inherent urban governance methods.Therefore,it is urgent for Chinese governments at all levels to pay attention to the main participation of the public in the urban governance process.Urban governance requires the active participation of the public,and the city government should take the initiative to draw the public into the process of urban governance,recognize the dominant position of the public and give play to its dominant role.Whether the public can effectively play the main role in urban governance is directly related to the realization of the goal of urban governance.Public participation is an important part of urban governance and an important way for its own interests to be fully protected.To give full play to the role of public subjects,it is necessary to let the public exercise their own power and get involved in urban governance,which can promote the government's decision-making to be more scientific and reconcile the relationship between the government and the public,so as to ensure the smooth progress of urban governance.This paper takes the public participation in urban governance in China as the research object,and analyzes the background,research significance and research status at home and abroad.From the domestic and foreign perspectives the public participation in urban governance in the process of the problems arising from a systematic analysis;Analyze the cases of public participation formed in the process of urban governance at home and abroad;This paper analyzes and summarizes the problems of public participation in urban governance in China,such as the lack of enthusiasm of public participation,the single way of public participation,the lag of public participation in legal system,the lack of government support,and the influence of traditional political culture.Through careful analysis and summary of the problems,the following solutions are proposed: get out of the vicious circle of traditional thoughts,provide complete legal guarantee for public participation in urban governance,advocate new urban governance concepts,and promote public participation in urban governance through multiple channels.
