With the development of society,in recent years, the number of full-time mothers in our country is increasing day by day and showing the new characteristics of "stage".Most of full-time mothers choose reemployment when their children grow up.However, due to various reasons, there are many obstacles in the way of reemployment for full-time mothers. This article-by taking a typical case as the research object, aims to help full-time mothers to improve their self-confidence in re-employment by using the social work methods,in order to promote the successful re-employment of full-time mothers.Through literature research and practical investigation, the author finds that full-time mothers have many difficulties in re-employment,and lack of self-confidence is a common phenomenon.Improving the self-confidence of full-time mothers in re-employment is a priority for promoting their successful re-employment.The article analyzes in detail how and why full-time mothers do not have enough confidence in re-employment,and uses the case study methods and skills of social work in combination with the theory of empowerment to intervene in the problem of insufficient self-confidence of full-time mothers at levels of individual, family and society, and help full-time mothers improve their self-confidence in re-employment by increasing their self-action ability. At the individual level, the intervention measures include increasing self-awareness and evaluation of full time mothers and helping them find out the exact causes. At the family level the intervention measure is mainly improving the way of getting along with their family members, and at the social level, the intervention measures include helping them participate in social activities more actively and restore normal social contact. The study found that full-time mothers' lack of self-confidence in reemployment is mainly manifested in three aspects: low self-efficacy,low sense of achievement, and poor action ability. The three major factors that affect the self-confidence of full-time mothers are their personal life planning, family members, relatives and friends' understanding of full-time mothers, and the recovery of social interactions. From the perspective of empowerment, the case study method can better solve problems in the social work field, and is very effective in improving the self-confidence of full-time mothers in re-employment.During the intervening process,it was found that restoring and expanding the social interaction of full-time mothers, enhancing the sense of accomplishment of full-time mothers, and increasing successful experience are effective ways to enhance the self-confidence of full-time mothers in reemployment. This study also has limitations that only a single case is chosen and research findings may not be applicable in all scenarios. Therefore more cases should be used in future studies.
