The new curriculum reform in the Senior High school biology regards students' biological core quality as the goal,biological school-based elective curriculum is a good carrier to cultivate students' biology core qualities.The development of school-based elective curriculum and practice often reflect a school's educational philosophy and level,which play a decisive role to the formation and development of school characteristics.The study mainly explores the method of literature research,interview,questionnaire,and experimental research to study the exploitation and practice of biology school-based elective curriculum.Firstly,this paper analyzes the relevant theories of school-based elective curriculum development,and focuses on the current situation and theoretical basis of the curriculum development.Secondly,through questionnaire and interview,it investigates and analyzes the current situation of the development and practice of biological school-based elective curriculum in No.1 senior middle school of Mu dan jiang city.Finally,it designs the school-based elective curriculum of “plant tissue culture experiment”,and the course was practiced and evaluated.From the results of the experiment and the results of the test,the students complete the curriculum objectives which are set in advance and achieve the expected teaching effect.The development and practice of “Plant tissue culture experiment” in school-based elective curriculum can not only promote the development of the students but also to promote the professional development of teachers,but there exists the lower professional level of teachers,lower enthusiasm of students,insufficient attention of parents and social problems.According to these problems,the author puts forward some ideas,and hopes to provide some references for the first-line teachers who are developing school-based elective curriculum.
