At present,all countries are actively promoting the educational reform,and the overall level of teachers,especially the level of professional development,is the key element of the success or failure of educational reform.Therefore,the research on teachers’ professional development has attracted much attention,and various countries are trying to find effective ways to promote teachers’ professional development.The mode of teacher professional development is an important achievement of contemporary teacher education theory and practice research,which can provide reference for promoting teachers’ professional developm ent to seek practical and effective methods and paths.With the change of educational concept,art education,including music curriculum,has been paid more and more attention.Music curriculum is an important way to carry out aesthetic education for students and plays an important role in the cultivation of creative talents’ thinking and ability.Therefore,paying attention to the professional development of music teachers,attaching importance to the construction of music teachers,making music teachers keep up with the pace of educational reform and development,is to promote the form ation of good music literacy of students,and promote the development of art education.On the basis of understanding the relevant theories and achievements of the profession al development model of teachers at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of the professional development of primary school music teachers in District X of Guangzhou by questionnaire,and combs the existing models.This paper points out the deficiency and the improvement strategy,and explores the effective application mode which can promote the professional development of music teachers in area X,which provides the possibility for the individual and group development of teachers.
