Physical educational teachers both in primary and middle schools has pay more and more close attention to cultivate and develop students’ interests in engaging in physical activities.Physical education is a subject aims at improving students’ health by means of physical exercises and in the form of sports teaching in the classroom.The first thing to do to achieve physical education’ teaching objectives is to cultivate students’interests.Interest refers to individuals,specific psychological tendency which leads individuals to perceive,understand,learn,participate and enjoy the course and outcome of one thing,it is the essential motivation for individuals to understand and participate social activities actively.For present physical education teaching and learning,in order to increase students,motivation in participating and learning physical education and get rid of the shortcomings of traditional "force-feed type",it’s necessary for teachers and students to attach importance to the cultivation of students’ interests.Students in the period of middle school develop significantly both in body and mind and gradually drive to maturity stage.The period of middle school is the best time to cultivate students’ interests in physical education as they have plasticity both in body and mind.Physical education in high school plays great importance on the development of students’ physical and psychological health,on the cultivation of sports skills and on the promotion of quality-oriented education.In this paper,we chose 400 students and 16 PE teachers randomly from Bu Ji Senior High School,Long Gang District,ShenZhen,to make a questionnaire survey,using different methods,literature research method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,and logical analysis method,at the meantime,we interviewed senior teachers to investigate current situation of students interests about PE class in Bu Ji High School and figure out what led this happen?We’ve got conclusions as follows:1.The interest of students to PE class is related to their grades level.2.Students do not have correct recognition and attitude to PE class,they do not pay attention to it,as well as their parents.3.Students have variety interests to different sports,they prefer skill sports to physical sports.The intrinsic motivation of students participating in sports is different.Among them,only a small proportion of students participate in sports because of their interest in sports.Students spend less time participating in sports,especially during the holiday period.They often choose to go online or go to a visit;The reason why the students are not interested in PE class is mainly influenced by personal cognition,academic pressure,venue equipment,teacher’s teaching style,and physical education curriculum setting and so on.Students’ learning interests in physical education curriculum depend on students’ personal cognition of PE class,which is the basic reason.Based Investigation on the present situation and influencing factors of students’interest in PE class and the influencing factors in Bu Ji Senior High School,the following suggestions are proposed in this paper with the actual situation of Bu Ji Senior High School:(1)To improve students’ sports cognition and enhance their sports consciousness;(2)To understand differences in interests and adopt sub-items Teaching;(3)To spread sports culture and creating a kind of sports atmosphere;(4)To optimize teaching content and improve the level evaluation;(5)To transform teaching ideas and improve teaching methods;(6)To improve venue equipment and optimize teaching environment. |
