Research On The Educational Management Reform Of International Students In Shanghai Universities

This paper takes the education management of international students from Shanghai colleges and universities as the logical starting point,and the New Public Management Theory and Process Reengineering Theory as the guidance.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of the education management of international students in China,taking H University as an example,using literature research,questionnaires,interviews and other methods to collect related information,expand fan research.This paper thinks that although the education management of international students from H University in China has achieved certain results,it also has insufficient education internationalization level,the lag of education management concept,and simple management methods and means.The reason for the above problems lies in: The education of international students coming to China is not enough attention,paying much attention to management instead of service,and there is no cooperation mechanism for mutual participation.To this end,Shanghai colleges and universities should adopt the following reform measures: First,build a service-oriented management organization.Management in the service;equipped with a lean and efficient education management team;strengthen the construction of teachers.Second,improve the methods of education management: Chinese students need to start reforming the education management system;implement scientific and standardized management;and build a platform for international students to participate in education management.Third,strengthen professional and curriculum construction: continuously optimize the teaching and training system;improve the level of curriculum construction management.Fourth,Redesigning the teaching management process centered on business processed: implement a mixed teaching method;implement network teaching that is conducive to breaking the limitations of time and space;reform learning assessment method;expand cooperation with the society;encourage the promotion of foreign students to carry out innovative project practices.The main shortcoming of this paper is that the understanding of the New Public Management Theory and Process Reengineering Theory is not deep enough,and there are limitations in the specificity and use of the theory.At the same time,the analysis of H University as an example may not be typical in many universities in Shanghai.Finally,due to my limited ability and knowledge,the understanding and research of some issues are not deep enough,and the ideas mentioned may lack sufficient persuasiveness.I hope that this research can play a role in inspiring the jade,and provide more ideas and countermeasures for the education management innovation of international students in China,and promote the healthy development of the education of international students in China.
