The novel is quite unique in comparison with other genres.It has the characteristics of multiplicity of themes,richness of characters and complexity of plots.However,there are still many problems in the individualized reading teaching of high school novels,among which the two most obvious problems are the "unity" of text interpretation and the "unbounded diversity" of text interpretation.The emergence of these two problems is not conducive to the rational interpretation of the novel personality,but also to the cultivation of critical thinking and innovation ability of high school students.The language curriculum reform in China is carried out under the background of the western literary theory and philosophical theory in the 20 th century.Gadamer's hermeneutic theory advocates that reading should respect the reader's perspective,integrate the reader's perspective with the author's and the text's,and encourage the reader to have a dialogue with the text.Personalized reading is put forward under such a theoretical background.It is helpful for the implementation and development of individualized reading teaching to guide individualized reading teaching with gadamer's hermeneutic theory of forethought,horizon fusion and dialogue.This paper adopts methods such as literature review,questionnaire survey and case study,based on the core theory of gadamer's hermeneutics,and on the basis of fully understanding the current situation of personalized reading teaching of high school novels,explores the teaching strategies of personalized reading of high school novels.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,text,reference and conclusion.The introduction consists of four parts: research origin;A review of gadamer's hermeneutic theory,novel teaching and individualized reading teaching in high school;Thesis writing ideas and innovations;Research methods of the paper.The text consists of five parts: the first part mainly defines gadamer's relevant theories and the related concepts of personalized reading teaching,and explores the close relationship between the two based on a thorough understanding of their connotations;The second part explains the necessity of individualized reading teaching of high school novels.The third part discusses the value of individualized reading teaching of high school novels from two aspects: the value of novel teaching and the value of improving Chinese literacy of high school students.The fourth part analyzes the current situation of personalized reading teaching of high school novels.The fifth part,under the background of gadamer's hermeneutic theory,puts forward the goal orientation and implementation strategy of personalized reading teaching of high school novels according to the problems in personalized reading teaching of high school novels nowadays.To sum up,the creation of this paper is conducive to solving the problems existing in the personalized reading teaching of high school novels,improving the teaching quality and efficiency of high school novels,and improving the language quality of high school students.
