The career planning of primary school teachers is inextricably linked to the professional development of primary school teachers,and is also an inevitable development trend of school development and basic education reform.This paper mainly uses the questionnaire survey method and the interview method to explore the problems in the career planning of the primary school teachers in the Z district of M city and propose corresponding suggestions and strategies based on the status quo.The study investigated 7 primary schools in Zone Z,surveyed 315 in-service teachers,and interviewed relevant education department leaders and some school principals and teachers.The survey results show that the career planning of primary school teachers in M district Z is not ideal.There are many problems: the primary school teachers have a weak sense of career planning;the internal motivation of primary school teachers' career planning is insufficient;the primary school teachers' professional cognition is ambiguous;Teachers lack understanding of the school environment;primary school teachers' career planning goals are unclear;primary school teachers lack reflection ability;school overall development is not synchronized with teacher career development.The main reasons are: the primary school teachers' professional development will not be strong;the primary school teachers' career planning lacks school support;the education administration department does not pay attention to the primary school teachers' career planning.Through the analysis of the problem,this paper analyzes the reasons from the education administrative part,the school and the primary school teachers personally,and puts forward specific suggestions and strategies to improve the career planning of primary school teachers: the education administrative department to increase the guidance of relevant professional fields;The organization strengthens the intervention of primary school teachers' career planning;primary school teachers enhance the consciousness of career planning.
