This paper uses the primary and secondary schools in Surat Thani,southwestern Thailand,as a sample to investigate the use of Chinese textbooks in primary and secondary schools in Surat Thani,including Thai native Chinese textbooks,Chinese-Thai Chinese textbooks,and Chinese textbooks imported from China.It analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these three kinds of textbooks,and on this basis,provides some suggestions for writing Chinese textbooks suitable for primary and secondary schools in Thailand,such as strengthening the pertinence when writing,emphasizing practicality,increasing interest,etc.The article is divided into six parts:The introduction part introduces the research background,the purpose and significance of the investigation,the past literature review,the survey object,the survey description and the survey method.The first chapter focuses on the research of local Chinese textbooks for Thai primary and secondary schools,including the analysis of ASEAN Chinese,the analysis of Happy Chinese and the application of Chinese.The second chapter focuses on the study of Chinese textbooks compiled by Thai and Chinese schools used in Thai primary and secondary schools,and analyzes the entire set of teaching materials used in elementary schools,junior high schools,and high schools of "Experiencing Chinese"(Thai edition).The third chapter focuses on the study of Chinese textbooks imported from China used by Thai primary and secondary schools.Including the Analysis of Chinese Conversation 301 Sentences and the Analysis of Chinese Tutorials.The forth Chapter focus on the use of Chinese teaching materials used by Thai primary and secondary schools.Including the common problems of Chinese textbooks in primary and secondary schools and the methods to solve them.The last part is a summary of the article that puts forward the innovation and shortcomings of the study.
