As one of the "four major literary genres",novels have always been favored by students because of their artistic characteristics such as vivid characterization,ups and downs of plot arrangement,typical environment construction and profound thinking about life.With the promotion of the new curriculum reform,while the teaching of Chinese reading has been gradually optimized and improved,the teaching of novels has been paid more and more attention by teachers.The proportion of selected novels in the new textbooks has also increased slightly.Among them,modern and contemporary novels,as an important branch of novels,occupy half of the anthologies of novels.Modern and contemporary novels,as a literary genre with realistic narrative charms such as humanistic feelings,rational spirit and universal feelings,have a unique value for the cultivation of students’ literary accumulation,aesthetics,emotion and values.Therefore,modern and contemporary novels should receive important attention in reading teaching,especially in the high school stage,which has higher requirements for literary and artistic appreciation.However,in the actual reading teaching,teachers pay far less attention to modern and contemporary novels than poetry and prose,and the reading effect and the cultivation of students’ text-reading ability are also unsatisfactory.Based on this,this study aims at the problems existing in the teaching of modern and contemporary novel reading in senior high school,actively studies and thinks under the guidance of the close reading theory,and tries to expand the teaching strategies of modern and contemporary novel reading in senior high school based on the close reading theory to provide reference methods and strategies for teachers to carry out the teaching practice of modern and contemporary novel reading,promote the high efficiency of modern and contemporary novel reading teaching,improve students’ literary reading ability.This study systematically sorts out the concept,theoretical origin and applied theoretical basis of close reading theory,and proposes specific strategies to improve the current situation of close reading of modern and contemporary novel text from five aspects: preparation for close reading,detailed appreciation of corpus,careful thinking of text,aesthetic cultivation,cultural understanding and inheritance.Under the guidance of the close reading theory,combined with the requirements of course standards,the teaching examples of famous teachers and the current learning situation,the teaching design of modern and contemporary specific novel items is presupposed and applied in practical teaching.After class,the teaching strategy and teaching practice are summarized and reflected. |
