Since 1970 s,school violence has attracted scholars' attention as a social phenomenon.The frequent occurrence of vicious school violence has caused serious harm to students' physical and mental health.However,there are obvious differences between boys and girls in school violence in both forms and causes.Therefore,a systematic study of school violence in primary and secondary schools from the perspective of gender is of great significance to provide a new perspective for the theoretical development of campus violence in our country,promoting educational and teaching reform,improving the physical and mental development of students,and create a harmonious campus.This study uses literature research method and survey research method to systematically elaborate the current situation and causes of school violence and gender in primary and secondary schools in China.This research is divided into four parts besides the introduction.The first part starts with gender theory and explores the rationality of school violence from a gender perspective.The second part carries out empirical investigation,elaborates the basic situation of school violence and analyses its results.The third part,conducts attribution analysis from the perspective of gender,and concludes that the causes of school violence in primary and secondary schools are composed of society,schools,families and students.The fourth part,on the basis of the basic national conditions of our country,draws lessons from the research experience of domestic and foreign experts and scholars on school violence from the perspective of gender,and finally seeks a normative path for school violence under gender in China from the four levels of society,schools,families and students.Therefore,this study that the prevention and control of school violence in primary and secondary schools from the perspective of gender should start from the socialbackground,establish and improve national policies and promote gender media guidance,schools should try their best to eliminate gender stereotypes of educators and strengthen environmental governance inside and outside schools;parents should set an example,choose reasonable ways of upbringing and establish correct educational concepts,It is important to strengthen students' self-protection education so as to reduce the occurrence of school violence.
