To carry out group reading teaching,teachers should first select topics,organize texts in and out of class around topics,and then design and implement teaching.Under the guidance of teachers,students discover,explore,discuss and communicate,and reach consensus in collective construction.As a useful supplement to the traditional reading mode,the advantages of group text reading teaching lie in effectively increasing students' reading capacity,cultivating students' ability to extract knowledge,reading strategies such as browsing and contrast,and developing their thinking ability.Many scholars and teachers realize the superiority of group reading teaching and devote themselves to the theoretical research and practical exploration of group reading teaching.However,the teaching mode of group reading is still in the stage of exploration and development,insufficient theoretical research and immature practical operation.There are some problems such as teachers' unclear understanding of the teaching mode of group reading and improper operation.On the basis of theory,this paper studies the teaching mode of group reading,finds out the problems existing in the teaching practice and puts forward some suggestions,which can not only improve the teaching mode of group reading,but also promote the change of teachers' educational and teaching concepts,promote the transition of educational concepts to teaching practice,and provide reference for the front-line teachers to create more efficient and meaningful reading teaching classes.By consulting a large number of documents and materials,this paper clarifies the development of group reading teaching,and defines the concept of group reading teaching as follows: group reading teaching is a process in which teachers and students reach consensus in the collective construction around the same topic,with multi-text as the carrier and under the guidance of teachers.In this process,students' reading ability and reading strategies are trained to inspire students to discover and think in reading.Group text reading classroom is a classroom for inspiration and reflection,cooperation and exploration,and cultivation of reading strategies.It is also a classroom for students to actively construct knowledge.It further presents the basic ideas of group reading teaching design,including the determination of teaching objectives,the selection of teaching content,problem design,collective construction and consensus building.Through the analysis of a large number of lessons,it is found that there are many problems in the design and implementation of group text reading teaching.In the aspect of setting teaching objectives,there are problems such as inappropriate focus of teaching objectives and lack of operability;in the aspect of text selection,there are problems such as too many text selections,lack of structure between texts and text selections being separated from textbooks;in addition,there are problems such as neglect of students' principal position and lack of effective questions in the teaching of group text reading.These problems are attributed to the analysis of teachers' simple understanding of group reading teaching,teaching ability is insufficient and other issues.In view of the problems existing in the design and implementation of group text reading teaching,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.In the formulation of teaching objectives,we should highlight the two-line,simplify the objectives,take into account the learning needs of different students,so as to make teaching objectives more appropriate;in the text selection,we should organize multi-form texts,pay attention to the inherent relevance of texts,so as to better integrate texts;in the design of guiding questions,we should ask and answer wide-ranging questions,and promote students' deep reading;As for the subject status of students,we should respect the subject status of students' reading,guide them to use appropriate reading strategies,give them time and space to read,highlight the subject and promote students' true reading.The purpose is to provide teachers who are interested in group reading teaching with a grasp of the concept and method of group reading teaching,to devote themselves to the teaching practice of group reading,to provide opportunities for students to develop various abilities in the classroom,and to promote the practice of this quiet change.
