In the process of primary school Chinese learning,teachers only pay attention to the grasp of words,sentences and central ideas in explaining a text,and seldom guide students to grasp the correct reading learning methods.Therefore,some practical reading strategies are needed to change the traditional teaching mode,so as to improve the efficiency of reading teaching.The teaching form of group text reading is relatively new.It pays more attention to the grasp of students' reading quantity and reading speed.It promotes students to broaden their horizons and increase their knowledge.By means of self-determination,cooperation and inquiry,students can make bold guesses,raise doubts and actively discover regular knowledge,so as to improve the teaching efficiency of reading as a brand-new teaching method.In this paper,action research,interviews,questionnaires and documentation are mainly used.Researchers conduct action research in two rounds.They carefully select reading materials and design two fourth grade group reading classes.Teachers and students jointly select a group of articles around one or more topics and carry out multi-text reading.Through multi-interpretation,they strive to reach consensus and seek common ground while reserving differences in the process of collective construction.To guide students to be good at thinking,broaden their horizons,and constantly improve their overall reading level.According to the students' classroom performance after the first round of action research,the problems are found.Therefore,the researcher adjusts the teaching ideas and designs according to the problems,finds out the reasons for the problems,starts the second round of action research,and draws the conclusion that the group reading teaching under the "1+X" mode is feasible and operable.It can not only effectively promote students' reading prosperity.Interest and correct reading learning methods can improve students' overall reading literacy.In a word,group reading,as a new teaching method,is a quiet revolution.It allows Chinese curriculum to spread its wings and let Chinese teaching soar.It will certainly occupy a place in Chinese teaching.
