Vocational education is the "engine" of the development of national economy.Under the social background of our country's great development of economy,vocational educators should actively practice the advanced teaching method of vocational education to make the contribution within their power to the development of the theory of vocational education.The Project Method,through the practice of vocational education in the postwar economic development of the West,is generally recognized as an effective teaching method for vocational training.The Project Method is beneficial to the achievement of the vocational education goal,can strengthen the cultivation of the students' comprehensive quality,help to enhance the "key ability" appreciated and emphasized by the enterprises,and make the students cultivated by vocational colleges adapt to the demands of society.However,in the process of localization of the Project Method,Chinese have so varied understanding of the theory,and there are quite a few misunderstandings.Only when the front line teachers fully and profoundly understand the theory of the Project Method in their specific teaching,can they implement the Project Method better,improve the quality of vocational education,cultivate the workforce which conforms to the social needs,and promote the national economic construction.After certain research on the theory of the Project Method by author,this paper is written on the basis of the practice of the course Foundation of Computer Application of the major of Radio,Film and Television in S Vocational College,which consists of five chapters.Chapter ? is Introduction.Firstly,the paper introduces the background of the research and the reason of the subject.Then it makes a summary of the Chinese literature on the teaching process of the course of Foundation of Computer Application in Higher Vocational Colleges.At last,it expounds the research target and significance,the research thought and the research method,determines the innovation point of the research.Chapter ? is the history,meaning,theoretical basis and teaching process of the Project Method.Firstly,the paper sorts out the origin and development of the Project Method and its development in China,and then discusses the meaning,characteristics,theoretical basis and implementation process of the Project Method.Chapter ? is Practical Application of the Project Method.Firstly,the paper analyzes the feasibility of praticing the Project Method in the course of Foundation of Computer Application,and deems that both the teaching aim of the course and the teaching demand of the specialty teaching on Radio,Film and Television decide its necessity to conduct the reform of the teaching method on the curriculum.And the Project Method is the concrete measure.Then,it deconstructs the program of film and television program,and summarizes the general project process of the production of film and television programs.At last,it analyzes the elements of teaching design,and designs the course teaching plan of Foundation of Computer Application based on the production process of movie and television program.Chapter ? is Summary and Evaluation of the Practice of the Project Method.Firstly,the paper summarizes the project teaching of the secondary implementation,and analyzes the problems existing in the teaching process and the achievement.Then,it evaluates the teaching practices from three aspects: questionnaire evaluation,student self-evaluation and evaluation of the teachers with the Radio,Film and Television specialty.The implementation of the Project Method fully realizes its own teaching target of the course of Foundation of Computer Application,and meets the teaching needs of the specialty teaching of Radio,Film and Television most.Chapter ? is Summary and Prospect of the practical research on the Project Method.Firstly,the paper expounds the achievement of the practical research on the Project Method.Through the practical research on the Project Method,the author thinks that the Project Method is beneficial to the cultivation of students' vocational quality,the cultivation of students' innovative ability,and the cultivation of students' independent learning ability.The successful experiences in teaching of radio,film and television specialty on the course of Foundation of Computer Application,will promote the more wider teaching reform in the course of Foundation of Computer Application,promote the linkup among the course and the vocational training courses in higher vocational colleges,be beneficial to the coordination of the relationship between cultural quality training and vocational training in professional education,and change the wrong idea that the public culture courses are meaningless in vocational colleges,the Project Method is an effective way to reform public culture course in higher vocational Colleges.Then,it summarizes the shortcomings of theauthor's research,and makes the prospect on the future research work.
