In recent years,drawing lessons from the experience and programs of promoting employment of disabled people at home and abroad,China has adopted the way of policy support and market promotion to provide assistant employment mode for the mentally,spiritually and severely disabled people.It has also taken assistant employment of disabled people as an important task to guarantee their participation in employment and provide new growth points for employment,so as to improve their labor skills.It can guarantee the right to employment and improve the living conditions of the disabled.Based on the assistant employment service of Sunflower(alias)Disabled Home in Nanjing,this research combs and integrates the relevant energy-increasing research,the social work research of energy-increasing orientation and the assistant Employment Research of disabled persons,taking the intellectual and physical disabled persons who are trained in day care as the service objects,and combines the relevant literature research.With the methods of interviews,interviews and on-the-spot observation,the practice of increasing the capacity of assistant employment service in institutions is transformed into three levels of intervention,that is,to increase the capacity of institutional trainees from personal level,interpersonal level and social level,to enhance self-reliance,psychological support and sense of social belonging,with a view to empowering disabled persons and enhancing their self-control on the basis of restoring their sense of incapacity.Sense provides the possibility for disabled people to participate in assistive employment.This paper evaluates the effect of the assistant employment service carried out by the institution from three aspects:goal accomplishment,satisfaction evaluation and social workers'self-evaluation;analyses the advantages of the assistant employment service carried out by the institution;and rethinks the institution's "enablers" in providing assistant service,practice of energy enhancement and social workers' responsibility.It is found that the assistant employment service of Sunflower House for the Disabled has achieved corresponding results in the practice of increasing energy,meeting the basic survival and safety needs of the disabled,obtaining employment rights and labor remuneration,and improving the comprehensive ability of the disabled.However,there are also fewer individualized services,insufficient professional personnel,lack of service professionalism and funds.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the standardization of institutional management,improve the professionalism and quality of institutional services,set up full-time social work posts,provide personalized services,improve the ability of institutional fund-raising,and promote the integration of resources,so as to better play the role of assistant employment and promote the growth of disabled people's ability.
