Since the full-time compulsory education music curriculum standard(hereinafter referred to as "standard")was revised in 2011,basic music education has attracted more and more attention.We have been witnessing vigorous development of music education:increasingly various music teaching activities,and gradually diverse classroom teaching methods.Under the guidance of the standard,music knowledge,skills,singing,appreciation,training and other content are gradually improving,and actively shaping basic music education.Music appreciation is an important part of primary school music teaching.It is an aesthetic activity.When listening to music,the viewer is in the world of sound.Through such teaching activities,it can effectively cultivate students' ability to feel,appreciate and create the beauty,which help promoting the all-round development of students' moral character and aesthetic ability.Music appreciation can not only expand students' musical vision,develop their image thinking ability,but also enable students to acquire rich music knowledge and understand various means of expression of music.Moreover,it is good for developing their interests in music and ability to feel and understand music.Therefore,the music appreciation class has very important significance in music teaching.To open the music appreciation classes in primary school is an effective way to cultivate students' interest in music,to broaden their horizons,and to enhance their ability of perceiving and feeing beauty.As an important part of primary school music lessons,it is of great significance to the learning,growth and life of primary school students.From another point of view,music appreciation requires a higher level of psychological activity than music listening.Music appreciation allows students to feel and listen to music from different sides and angles.Therefore,the music appreciation are crucial to cultivate and train students' sentiments and comprehensive capabilities.Under the guidance of the Standard,the education system in Weinan City of Shanxi Province pays more attention to the reform of basic music education.The Teaching and Research Center of Linwei District(TRD)attaches great importance to music appreciation teaching,and often carries out music appreciation teaching and observation activities.Under the guidance of TRD,The Beitang Experimental Primary School(BEPS)have achieved remarkable results in the quality of music education and talent management.My eight-year teaching practice activities in BEPS were studies and adopted in this paper.The research focus on the practice of music appreciation practice in the primary school,especially about the activities and cases of the classroom teaching in BEPS based on theory.The paper consists of five parts:Chapter One Introduction.The basis and significance of the topic selection,the music appreciation curriculum has not really received enough attention for the topics.Many teachers generally think that it is difficult to control the appreciation curriculum.It is difficult to make the classroom atmosphere active.The boring listening is difficult to produce interactive resonance.The paper also studies the phenomenon of dilution and avoidance of music appreciation teaching in reference to the domestic and abroad literature.Chapter Two Summary of BEPS's music appreciation teaching of senior pupils.In reference to the Appreciation part of the music textbook compiled by the People's Music Publishing House,the paper studied in three aspects of BEPS music appreciation teaching for senior pupils:teaching objectives,textbook analysis,and textbook characteristics.Chapter Three is the focus of practical research with methodological research on the problem.In the music appreciation teaching for the senior pupils of BEPS,three teaching methods were practiced in the class:flip classroom teaching,graphic spectrum teaching and rhythm teaching method.Students feel more interested and improve their capabilities.Chapter 4 Specific cases demonstration of BEPS music appreciation teaching for senior students.In the class teaching,Waltz's "Miniature",the instrumental orchestral"Sled",and the song "Jasmine" were selected from the Music Books of Grade 4-6 for the students to enjoy different styles of regional folks,and different methods were used,obtaining different effects.Chapter 5 Prospect of BEPS music appreciation teaching.The followings were concluded through the study:First,the administration department should fully support the music teaching work,increase the investment in music teaching equipment;secondly,it is important to introduce professional teachers who love grassroots music education and pay attention to inheriting local music in the music classroom.Finally,it is necessary to carry out regular teaching and research activities in the regular routine teaching,such as attending the teaching forum,observing,and listening to academic lectures of experts and scholars,to improve the professional ability of teachers,to promote the teaching and enhance the teaching charm of music teachers.
