In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the Opinions on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Mission of Establishing Virtue,which clearly stated the task of developing the core qualities of students,in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Party,it was also clearly stated that the fundamental task of establishing virtue should be fulfilled,and the builders and successors of the comprehensively developed socialist cause should be trained.In 2018,the Ministry of Education promulgated the Standards for Ideological and Political Courses for General High Schools(2017 Edition),which stated that the core literacy of ideological and political disciplines is composed of four elements,namely political identity,scientific spirit,rule of law awareness and public participation.As the first of the four core qualities of the ideological and political discipline,"political identity" is the ideological basis for maintaining national unity and social stability,and is the soul and direction of the other three core qualities.Cultivating political identity for high school students is an inevitable requirement for practicing the core qualities of the ideological and political discipline,a fundamental requirement for achieving the task of establishing morality in the ideological and political discipline,and a practical requirement for training builders and successors of the socialist cause.The ideological and political classroom,as the main channel for the cultivation of high school students' political identity literacy,plays a vital role in the cultivation of students' political identity literacy.Therefore,this article takes high school ideological and political classroom teaching as the research carrier,through in-depth investigation of teaching practice and combined with related theories to analyze the reasons for the existing problems,and then puts forward suggestions for improving students' political identity through high school ideological and political teaching,so as to better cultivate the students' political identity.This article is mainly divided into four parts:The first part is an overview of relevant theories on the cultivation of students' political identity in high school ideological and political teaching.In this part,the related concepts are defined,and the main content of high school students' political identity cultivation is systematically elaborated,and the necessity and feasibility of cultivating students' political identity in high school ideological and political teaching are pointed out;The second part is the investigation and analysis of the status of students' political identity cultivation in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.The author used questionnaire survey and interview to investigate the status of students' political identity cultivation,and analyzed the results from the recognition of political identity,identity,practice,teachers' teaching and school teaching evaluation system;The third part is to elaborate on the achievements and main problems of the cultivation of students' political identity in the teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools.The author analyzes the causes of the problems from the perspective of teacher teaching concepts,traditional teaching models,students' own factors and school teaching evaluation system;The fourth part is based on the existing problems and reasons to put forward suggestions to improve the cultivation of students' political identity in high school ideological and political teaching.The author mainly puts forward suggestions for improvement from five aspects: updating the teacher's teaching concept,improving teachers' literacy,conscientiously preparing for teaching,guiding students to achieve a unified knowledge and practice of political identity,and optimizing the school's teaching evaluation system.
