Job burnout refers to the psychological and behavioral symptoms that people experience in the workplace that tend to be emotional and spiritual, such as negative attitudes towards others, low self-esteem,sense of failure, and low work performance. These emotional and behavioral symptoms can be divided into emotional exhaustion, dehumanization and low sense of achievement. With the rapid development of society, people feel more and more social competition and increasing work pressure. How to reduce the level of job burnout has become a top priority for everyone.Work autonomy refers to the degree of control of daily work perceived by employees, which can be divided into three dimensions, namely method autonomy, procedure autonomy and standard autonomy. If an enterprise employee can decide when and by what method to complete which work, his job burnout level will be different from that of other enterprise employees who cannot decide for themselves. Some existing literatures suggest that work autonomy can negatively predict their level of job burnout.Based on this,we believe that work autonomy may be a factor affecting job burnout. This study starts with whether employees' work autonomy can alleviate job burnout, explores the mechanism by which work autonomy affects job burnout, and validates the moderating role of core self-evaluation from an individual perspective. In this study,411 employees from Jiangxi Province,Zhejiang Province,Beijing,Tianjin,Guangdong Province, etc.were used as the research objects.Using four research tools, the Work Autonomy Scale(WAS),the Core Self-Evaluation Scale(CSES),the Work-Family Conflict Scale, and the Maslach Burnout Inventory(MBI),use questionnaires to understand the status of work autonomy and job burnout among employees, and further explore the mediating role of work-family conflicts and the moderating role of core self-evaluation.The results show:(1)The three dimensions of work autonomy of enterprise employees are all at a medium level.(2)There is a significant difference in gender in the dimension of work autonomy; The three dimensions of work autonomy have significant differences in working age.(3)The employees' work autonomy is negatively related to job burnout.(4)Work-family conflict plays a partial mediating role between work autonomy and job burnout.(5)Core self-evaluation plays a moderating role in the relationship between work autonomy and work-family conflict.Analysis conclusion:(1)The employees' work autonomy and job burnout are at a medium level.(2)Work autonomy affects job burnout through work-family conflict.(3)Core self-evaluation can enhance the positive impact of work autonomy on working-family conflict.
