Time is the existence form of history,and it is one of the constituent elements of history.Time series based on historical events is the basis of studying and studying history,so the time series thinking ability based on time series is one of the important thinking skills of history disciplines.With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform,the history discipline is required to further develop the students' thinking ability.Therefore,the history chronology has become an important content that cannot be ignored in the history teaching process.Appropriate and flexible use of historical chronology in history teaching plays an important role in cultivating students' ability to think in time,logical thinking,and exploring the laws of historical development.Therefore,from the perspective of history teaching,this article specifically analyzes the necessity of using the history chronology in the history teaching process,followed by a questionnaire survey and specific cases,elaborates the current situation of the use of the history chronology by teachers and students in the history teaching process of high school and Various problems may occur,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the problems.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is Introduction,which mainly discusses the background and significance of the topic selection,the research content and methods,and the research status of this issue.The second part is an overview of historical chronology.Firstly,it discusses the four types of historical chronology,that is,chronology of major events,comparative chronology,phase chronology,and comprehensive chronology.Secondly,it explains the necessity of using historical chronology in high school history teaching from four aspects.The third part is to analyze the current situation of the use of historical chronology by teachers and students in senior high school history teaching through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews.Through statistical questionnaires and interview results,this problem is analyzed from the teacher and student levels the reason.The fourth part is to explain the strategy of using historical chronology in the history teaching of high school.The first is to explain the principle of using the historical chronology,and to point out that the historical chronology is not used indiscriminately,but to follow certain rules of use.Second,thecorresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the use of historical chronology.The fifth part is to conduct a specific case analysis and teaching reflection through a lesson,in order to promote the use and research of historical chronology in the teaching practice process.
