Paying attention to the chronology is the characteristic of history subject,how to embody and implement the chronology of history subject is the important task of history teaching in senior high school,and chronology is the important course resource to assist teaching and learning.Historical chronology,as an intuitive tabular material,has the characteristics of simple structure,concise content expression and clear logic,and plays an important auxiliary function in history teaching.Based on the teaching objectives,how to grasp the relationship between teaching content and chronology,and how to use the historical chronology reasonably and flexibly in teaching to cultivate the students'sense of time order is a major problem that history teachers should pay attention to,which is also worth discussing and putting forward practical plans.In addition,history teachers should also think about how to guide students to participate in chronological teaching activities before teaching,which is also the key to improve students' historical chronological thinking ability.Therefore,this article from the perspective of history teaching,analyzes the importance of historical chronology in history teaching,also through specific teaching cases,discusses the historical chronology in history class and strengthen the training strategies of temporal concepts and methods,and in view of the problems that should be paid attention to when using the timeline put forward its own suggestions,education in history teaching has certain reference significance.This paper is mainly carried out through five parts:the first part is about the basic situation of historical chronology,mainly introduces the basic concept of historical chronology,four main types of historical chronology and three advantages of historical chronology.The second part is the discussion of the application significance of historical chronology in history teaching,and analyzes the important value of historical chronology in meeting the requirements of curriculum reform,adapting to the proposition trend of college entrance examination and improving students' sense of timing,among which the importance of historical chronology in cultivating students' sense of timing is highlighted,The third part is the overall interpretation of the application principles and strategies of historical chronology in high school history teaching,emphasizing that teachers should follow the relevant application principles and rationally use chronology to promote teaching development according to the actual teaching needs,so as to enable students to narrate history,explain history and understand history in the time background.The fourth part analyzes the problems that should be paid attention to when using historical chronology in high school history teaching and puts forward some relevant Suggestions.In the fifth part,according to the suggestions,taking the course "the great cause of the reunification of the motherland" as an example in the history compulsory no.
