This paper studies the performance management of the Education Bureau in D City,and through the analysis of the performance management process of the senior high schools under the charge of the Education Bureau,it is found that there are some problems in the performance management process of the Education Bureau in D City.First of all,performance management is lack of system,there is no corresponding system to regulate all aspects of management.Second,in the process of performance management,there is a lack of mutual communication between relevant subjects,insufficient information exchange in each link of management,and the communication mode is monotonous and traditional.Third,the formality of performance appraisal,performance indicators lack of quantification,function is not high.Finally,the public participation in performance management is not high.The public participation willingness is not strong.In view of the above problems,the paper gives the corresponding reference solution strategy.First of all,the performance management process should be standardized,and there should be continuity between management links.Establish a clear performance management system according to local conditions,so that the management can be relied on,but also improve the management supervision system.The Education Bureau should conduct performance management in a fair and just manner.Second,the Education Bureau should establish an effective communication mechanism,which should not only have the awareness of communication,but also ensure that there is a way of communication,and make reasonable use of the Internet to set up more convenient communication channels.Third,the scientific design performance appraisal,the index content is more comprehensive and professional,standard appraisal procedures.Finally,to continuously promote the development of public participation and create an environment for public participation,education departments should share performance information with the public,regulate public participation behavior,make public participation play a real role in the process of performance management,and establish a certain guarantee mechanism to ensure the smooth progress of public participation.
