| The compulsory education language curriculum standard specifies that the total amount of reading in elementary school is not less than 1.45 million words.It is not enough to draw such a reading volume from Chinese textbooks alone.Therefore,extracurricular reading must be valued by teachers.The core literacy of Chinese is the hot topic of current Chinese education research.Can the coupling of students’ Chinese core literacy and extracurricular reading produce the desired response? Driven by this possibility and inevitability,an investigation and study was conducted on extracurricular reading based on students ’core Chinese literacy,and the study explored how to use extracurricular reading to promote the development of students’ core Chinese literacy.Focusing on the two core issues of "Chinese core literacy" and "extracurricular reading",this article first determines the meaning of the core Chinese literacy in primary schools,including human literacy and ability literacy.Based on the previous research results and the three theories of "humanism theory","constructivism theory",and "Chambers reading circle theory" as the theoretical basis of the study,the questionnaire survey and test paper methods are used The current situation of extracurricular reading and core literacy of high-level students was investigated.In the two tests,it was found that extracurricular reading contributes to the development of students’ core Chinese literacy.Combining the use of action research methods,in-depth teaching practice,through comprehensive use of case studies and experience summaries,we recommended extracurricular reading bibliography that is helpful to the development of students’ Chinese core literacy;on the basis of in-depth research,this paper constructs the Before the class,to the recommended reading content,and then to the construction of the three-stage "high-level extracurricular reading teaching" school-based course of reading.The purpose of cultivating the core literacy of Chinese language is achieved by reasonably arranging reading time and various activities.To build a high-level reading teaching model,this article determines the five-dimensional teaching objectives of reading,thinking,questioning,accumulating,and applying;teaching methods to strengthen reading ability;creating drama classes,reading and writing combined classes,and reading imagination classes. |
