With the development of the society,the new curriculum reform is advancing continuously.In the autumn of 2019,six provinces and municipalities including Beijing and Shanghai began to use new textbooks of history for senior high school.Different from the previous textbook compilation form of "module + topic",the new textbook is compiled in accordance with the general history and based on the sequence of time,showing the basic clues of human history at all times and in all countries.The general style of history solves the problem of the separation of historical events,but each lesson contains a lot of content,and it is difficult to complete the teaching task.Facing with this kind of curriculum structure,how to carry out effective teaching design is a problem that many history teachers need to solve.One of the ways to solve this problem is to design the unit teaching and arrange the unit content.Moreover,unit teaching design can also avoid the problem of "can't see the forest for the trees" in class teaching design,and can "see both the trees and the forest".In view of this,the first chapter describes the significance of the history unit teaching design,which can not only conform the requirements of the new version of the curriculum standards and be good for the professional development of teachers,but also promote the overall development of students and help to improve the efficiency of teaching.Then,the second chapter analyzes the representative teaching design cases of high school history units.Summarized the effective and feasible methods from the excellent cases.At last,taking unit 5 of the new textbook "internal and external troubles and national salvation in the late Qing dynasty" as an example to carry on the unit teaching design.On the basis of analyzing unit content,taking "the change which not have seen in thousands of years" as the main clue to help students understand the development of "change" in the late Qing dynasty and each class in the "change" to explore the way of historical events.The design also pay attention to cultivating students' ability of analyzing historical data and the patriotic consciousness.
