Parental Support And Career Decision-making Difficulties Of College Students

Under the framework of Social Cognitive Career Theory(SCCT),this paper studies the current situation of College Students’ career decision-making difficulties,explores the influence and mechanism of parental autonomy support,trait emotional intelligence and career adaptability on College Students’ career decision-making difficulties,so as to provide reference for college students’ career guidance and career guidance.In this study,553 valid questionnaires were obtained from 600 college students in Shanghai and Jiangsu.SPSS22.0 and AMOS24.0 were used to analyze the data.The results are as follows:1.The overall level of parental autonomy support of college students is in the upper middle level,including gender,grade,participation in school associations,father’s education level and family There is no significant difference in the factors of residence,and there is significant difference in the factors of mother’s education level;2.The overall situation of College Students’ trait emotional intelligence is in the upper middle level,there is no significant difference in the factors of mother’s education level,and there are significant differences in gender,grade,participation in school community or not,father’s education level,family residence and other factors3.The overall situation of College Students’ career adaptability is in the upper middle level,and there is no significant difference in the factors of fathers’ education level.There are significant differences in gender,participation in school associations or not,mother’s education level,family residence and other factors;4.The overall situation of College Students’ career decision-making difficulties is in the upper middle level,and there is no significant difference in gender,participation in school associations or not,and mother’s education level.There are significant differences in grade,father’s education level,family residence and other factors;5.The correlation and regression of College Students’ parental autonomy support,trait emotional intelligence,career adaptability and career decision-making difficulties are significant,among which,parental autonomy support negatively predicts career decision-making difficulties,trait emotional intelligence and career adaptability in parents’ independent support and career decision-making difficulties It plays the role of chain intermediary.
