With the growth of age,the elderly people have muscle weakness and tendon atrophy,resulting in decreased joint flexibility,resulting in limited joint movement,affecting the ability of daily living activities and causing joint diseases,seriously affecting the quality of life of the elderly people.Studies have shown that regular exercise keeps soft tissues like muscles and tendons flexible and prevents muscle and joint damage.In addition,physical exercise can enhance the tensile strength,muscle mass and contractility of tendons and ligaments,improve the function and ductility of the surrounding soft tissues,and increase the range of motion of the joints.According to research,health qigong eight jin has a soft,round living coherent,deep and slow motion characteristics,such as multiple joints and ligaments exercise focuses on the human body,can effectively improve human body function,range of motion and enhance ability so as to improve the elderly daily life activities,reduce the incidence of osteoarthritis,improve the quality of life.Research objectives:To explore the effect of qigong baduanjin on the range of motion of elderly women's joints,so as to provide an effective way of exercise for the improvement of the range of motion of the elderly and improve the quality of life.Research methods:In this study,32 elderly women were randomly divided into the control group(n=16)and the experimental group(n=16).The control group was given no intervention,and the elderly women in the experimental group were given fitness qigong baduanjin intervention for a period of 3 months,three times a week,for one hour each time.Before and after the experiment through to the older women respectively on the shoulder(forward bends,after stretching,outreach,spin,spin),elbow(buckling,pronation and supination),wrist flexion,radial(dorsiflexion and palm bow,ulnar flexion),neck(proneness,after stretching,lateral flexion and rotation),hips(flexing and stretching,outreach,spin,spin),(buckling,spin,spin)of the knee,ankle dorsiflexion,varus,outreach,exhibition)of motion of the test,the comprehensive reaction of elderly women each joint activity change,probe into eight brocade exercise on the influence of the older women joint mobility.Research results:(1)effects of bodybuilding qigong baduanjin on body composition of the elderly:before the experiment,there was no significant difference in body composition between the two groups of elderly women(P>0.05).Three months after eight brocade exercise intervention,compared with the control group in older women,the experimental group body moisture there was no significant change(P > 0.05),significant losing weight(P < 0.05),decreased body fat rate was extremely significant(P < 0.01),muscle weight had significant increase(P < 0.05),bone weight had significant increase(P < 0.05),BMI has significant improvement(P < 0.05),metabolic age had significantly decreased(P < 0.05),the daily energy consumption has increased significantly(P < 0.05),visceral fat levels have declined significantly(P< 0.05).(2)range of motion:Effects of health qigong baduanjin on the range of motion of joints in the elderly:The range of motion of shoulder joint,elbow joint,wrist joint,neck joint,hip joint,knee joint and ankle joint were tested before and after the baduanjin exercise.The elbow joint includes the measurement of the motion in three directions: flexion,pronation and pronation.The carpal joint includes the measurement of motion in four directions: dorsiflexion,palmar flexion,radial flexion and ulnar flexion.The neck consists of four directions: forward flexion,backward extension,lateral flexion and rotation.The hip joint was tested in five directions: flexion,extension,abduction,external rotation and internal rotation.The knee joint was tested in three directions:flexion,external rotation and internal rotation.The ankle joint was tested in four directions: dorsiflexion,varus,abductor and abductor.After 12 weeks of physical qigong baduanjin intervention in the elderly,we found that:(1)changes in the range of motion of the shoulder joint of the elderly women before and after qigong baduanjin exercise: there was no significant difference in the range of motion of the shoulder joint of the elderly women in the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05).After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,compared with the control group,the older women in the experimental group had extremely significant improvement in shoulder forward flexion(P<0.01),abduction of shoulder joint(P<0.05),external rotation of shoulder joint(P<0.05),and internal rotation of shoulder joint(P<0.05).(2)changes of elbow range of motion before and after qigong baduanjin exercise:there was no significant difference in elbow range of motion between the two groups(P>0.05).After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,compared with the control group,the elderly women in the experimental group had significant improvement in elbow joint rotation(P<0.05),and significant improvement in elbow joint rotation(P<0.05).(3)Changes in wrist range of motion before and after qigong baduanjin exercise in elderly women: there was no significant difference in wrist range of motion in all directions in the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05).After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,there was a very significant improvement in carpal dorsiflexion and carpal radial flexion in older women in the experimental group(P<0.01)compared with the control group(P<0.05).(4)changes in neck mobility of elderly women before and after qigong baduanjin exercise: there was no significant difference in neck mobility in all directions between the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05).After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,compared with the control group of elderly women,the experimental group of elderly women had significant improvement in neck extension(P<0.05),neck rotation had significant improvement(P<0.05).(5)changes in hip joint mobility of elderly women before and after qigong baduanjin exercise: there was no significant difference in hip joint mobility in all directions between the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05).After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,compared with the control group,the elderly women in the experimental group had significant improvement in hip flexion(P<0.05),hip extension(P<0.05),hip abduction(P<0.05),and hip external rotation(P<0.05).(6)Changes of motion of knee joint of elderly women before and after qigong ba duanjin exercise: there was no significant difference in motion of knee joint in each direction between the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05);After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,compared with the control group of elderly women,the knee flexion in the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05),and the knee internal rotation was significantly improved(P<0.05).(7)Changes of ankle joint before and after qigong baduanjin exercise in elderly women: there was no significant difference in the degree of motion of ankle joint in all directions in the two groups before the experiment(P>0.05);After 3 months of baduanjin exercise intervention,there were significant improvements in ankle dorsiflexion,ankle varus and ankle extension in the experimental group comparedwith the control group(P<0.05).Research conclusions:Long-term fitness qigong baduanjin exercise can effectively improve the motion of multiple joints of the upper limbs(shoulder,elbow,wrist),trunk(neck),lower limbs(hip,knee,ankle),and significantly improve the strength and extension of the muscles around the joints of the elderly women.At the same time,the body composition of the elderly women after qigong ba duan jin exercise has been improved to some extent.
