In order to protect the right of students with physical and mental disabilities to receive compulsory education, our country has implemented the educational form of "studying in regular classes" through exploration, pilot experiments and administrative promotion. However,in recent years, many scholars have found that the level of peer acceptance of students with physical and mental disabilities in the class is very low,and they are not really integrated into the class life.Based on the current situation of the acceptance attitude of ordinary students in class W towards peers with physical and mental disabilities, the researchers used picture books as the medium to carry out educational action research to improve the acceptance attitude of ordinary students towards peers with physical and mental disabilities. The purpose of this study is to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of picture book teaching in improving the normal students' acceptance attitudes toward their peers with physical and mental disorders. In order to bring the picture book into the classroom in a rational form, the researchers use the way of educational action research to carry out research. In this study, eight teaching activities within a half semester picture book course are carried out based on eight selected picture books including extensive reading "little black fish".In the whole process,we collected student picture book learning lists, student interview records, student feedback lists, researcher's teaching reflections, parent feedback lists and teacher interview records for triangle certification and analysis of research results. This can analyze the changes of acceptance attitudes of normal students in class W toward students with physical and mental disorders mainly in cognitions, affections and behaviors. This article consists of an introduction and four chapters. The introduction introduces the research reason and significance, research objectives, related concepts definition, related research review. The first chapter is the research design, which mainly describes the research methods, research steps, research field, research object, research data collection and processing and the design of the research process. The second chapter is that the researcher determines the educational theme, picture book and picture book teaching goal according to the learning situation of Class W and the characteristics of physical and mental development of the students in that year.In this chapter, the researcher describes in detail the process of establishing the educational theme, selecting picture books and content analysis, setting picture book teaching goal and implementation, and summarizes the reflection and improvement in the picture book teaching. The third chapter presents the teaching effect of picture books, analyzing the changes of ordinary students' acceptance of companions with physicaland mental disabilities at the cognitive, emotional and behavioral levels from picture book learning sheets, student feedback sheets, student interview records, parent feedback sheets and teacher interview records. The fourth chapter is the conclusions and suggestions of picture-book teaching action research. The conclusion part mainly summarizes the experience and limitations of picture book teaching, and the growth of students,W teachers and researchers in picture book teaching. After half a semester of picture book teaching, the students of Class W are more confident and patient, and respect to others. They can gradually accept the disabled ones in cognitions, affections and behaviors, but changes of different students vary.It indicates the feasibility and effectiveness of picture book to improve the acceptance attitudes toward the students with physical and mental disorders. At the same time, the researchers and teachers of class W have improved their research and teaching ability and gained experience.
