Research On The Factors Affecting The Export Complexity Of China’s High-Tech Industry

In recent years,with the rapid development of the world economy,the export structure of various industries in China has undergone a significant change.The proportion of high-tech product exports has increased in proportion to the scale of national product exports.Although from some individual industries or regions,China’s high-tech industry has strong international competitiveness,but the overall strength of high-tech industry is uneven,and there are problems of development differentiation.At the same time,the vast majority of high-tech products exported from China are from foreign-funded enterprises and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan-funded enterprises.The international competitiveness of China’s high-tech products needs to be greatly improved.The export complexity can accurately measure the technical content of high-tech products and reveal the position of high-tech industry in the international economic market.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influencing factors of China’s high-tech industry export complexity.It has a very positive significance for the transformation of China’s economic development mode,the upgrading of industrial structure and the improvement of comprehensive strength.This paper studies and combs the relevant literature on export complexity measurement methods and influencing factors.Based on the current situation of China’s high-tech product export,this paper combines theoretical analysis and empirical analysis to deeply study the influencing factors of high-tech industry export complexity.And its mechanism of action,aimed at providing targeted recommendations for the improvement of the export complexity of high-tech industry.The research content of this paper is mainly divided into the following chapters:Chapter 1,introduction.It mainly introduces the research background,the meaning of the topic,the research ideas,the research content and methods,and the literature review,and points out the inadequacies and innovations.The innovation of the article mainly has two aspects: on the one hand,based on the domestic perspective,using the provincial panel data to empirically analyze the factors affecting the export complexity of high-tech industry;on the other hand,different regions of high-tech industry,different fine the export complexity of the sub-sectors is separately measured and analyzed,enriching the research on the export complexity of high-tech industry.Chapter 2,the definition of the complexity of high-tech industry export and related theories.Define the concept of high-tech industry and the connotation of export complexity,and sort out the relevant economic theories of high-tech industry export complexity such as comparative advantage theory,factor endowment theory,technology gap theory and new trade theory.The research on the factors affecting the complexity of export has laid a theoretical foundation.Chapter 3,analysis of the status quo of high-tech product exports.Mainly using the quantitative analysis method,the current situation of high-tech product export is measured from the horizontal and vertical perspectives,and the export of high-tech products is analyzed from the aspects of export structure,industry distribution and innovation status,and the high-tech industry is proposed.Problems in export trade.Chapter 4,measurement analysis of the export complexity of high-tech industry.On the basis of the previous theoretical analysis,the paper analyzes the export complexity of China’s high-tech industry from the overall perspective,industry perspective and regional perspective.And research on the changing trend of high-tech industry export complexity and the distribution characteristics between industries and regions.Through analysis,it is found that although the overall export complexity of China’s high-tech industry is gradually increasing,there are still serious imbalances between regions and industries.Chapter 5,analysis of the influencing factors of the export complexity of high-tech industry.Firstly,qualitative analysis is made on the influencing factors and mechanism of the export complexity of high-tech industry.These factors are human capital,capital investment,degree of openness,R&D efficiency and innovation capability.The empirical analysis of the influence direction of each factor and its significance shows that the effects of R&D efficiency,openness and capital investment are significantly positive across the country.These three factors are exported to high-tech industry.The increase in complexity has had a very important impact.Chapter 6,countermeasures for improving the complexity of exporting high-tech industry.According to the qualitative analysis and empirical analysis of the influencing factors of high-tech industry,combined with the characteristics of China’s high-tech industry and the actual situation of export,the following countermeasures are proposed: First,actively promote the coordinated development of high-tech industry.Second,optimize the structure of import and export trade in high-tech industry.Third,enhance the R&D and innovation capabilities of high-tech industry and strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights.Fourth,increase capital investment in high-tech industry and introduce high-tech talents.
