From 1979 to 2018,China's urbanization rate increased rapidly from 19%to 59.58%,with an average annual growth rate of 1%.However,in the process of urbanization, many problems such as one-sided pursuit of metropolization,one-way flow of surplus rural labor to cities, neglecting and even sacrificing rural development have brought the ecological dilemma of urbanization.Including extensive and inefficient use of land resources;the surge of urban traffic pressure;the pollutions of urban and rural environment;the ecological damage;the high prices of real estate, and so on.Besides, there are still many contradictions between the yearning for a better life and the development of urbanization, and so on.The scientific connotation and basic characteristics of the ecological-oriented urbanization path with Chinese characteristics proposed in this paper lie in:based on the basic national conditions of our country, taking the road of realizing the harmonious coexistence of urban and rural areas and integrating development.Unlike the traditional urbanization, the eco-oriented urbanization with Chinese characteristics is by no means a one-sided emphasis on the development of large urbanization,over-reliant on industrialization, blindly driving farmers to migrate to the city, nor neglecting even sacrificing rural development.Instead,it insists on the overall coordination of urban and rural areas through the people-oriented urbanization, green urbanization and local urbanization, and ultimately realizes the rational flow of population between urban and rural areas, coordinated economic development, equal public services, improved ecological environment and sharing of a better life between urban and rural areas. In this regard, this paper innovatively discusses the impact of population mobility on the harmonious development of urban and rural areas from the perspective of ecological civilization. On the one hand,it points out the problems and shortcomings in Lewis-oriented traditional urbanization path theoretically, and expands the Harris-Todaro population flow model,in which ecological factors are added to overcome the defects of Lewis model;on the other hand,it puts forward and constructs a set of eco-oriented urbanization index system in empirical analysis, and further validates the unsustainability of the traditional urbanization road which cannot achieve the harmonious development of urban and rural areas by means of econometric analysis. Finally, combining with the case analysis, the paper puts forward specific policy suggestions on the path of eco-oriented urbanization with Chinese characteristics.
