Study On The Selection And Development Of Advantaged Industries In Panzhihua

It is the key to developing the industry in the region.The advantageous industries in a region play an important role in adjusting the local industrial structure,accelerating industrial transformation and upgrading,and promoting the coordinated and healthy development of the regional economy and environment.Panzhihua City is a resource-based city.However,resources are limited.To achieve sustainable economic development,it is necessary for Panzhihua City to adjust its industrial structure,identify industry positioning,develop advantageous industries,and ensure a steady increase in the economy.Under the theoretical framework of regional economic development,combined with the theory of economic geography,regional economics and other related disciplines,this paper sorts out the connotation and methods of the selection of advantageous industries at home and abroad through literature review,analyzes the principles of selection of advantageous industries,and determines the indicators of advantageous industries.Using the location quotient and explicit advantage index method to analyze the first,second and third industries of Panzhihua City,select the advantageous industries suitable for the development of Panzhi City,and put forward the suggestions for the development of advantageous industries in Panzhihua City.The main research results of the thesis are as follows:(1)Established the index system of advantageous industries: According to the selection principle of advantageous industries and the constraints of external factors,based on the actual situation of the region,from the perspective of science,objectivity and feasibility,the index system of advantageous industries was established.The specific indicator system is:(1)market advantage index: market share;(2)location advantage index: location quotient;(3)production factor advantage: employment absorption rate,capital output rate;(4)economic benefit advantage: industry Profit margin.(2)Refining the advantageous industries in Panzhihua City: In the first industry of Panzhihua City,the dominant industries are agriculture and fishery,the location dealers are 1.09 and 2.22 respectively,and the fruit and vegetable industries in agriculture are developing better;the loss-making industry is removed from the secondary industry.The top five volcanic mining and dressing industry,gas production and supply industry,non-ferrous metal mining industry,waste resource comprehensive utilization industry,chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industries have certain advantages.The advantage selection index is 6.1850.1.6958,1.6816,0.8540,0.8517;the tourism industry in the tertiary industry has the most outstanding advantages.In 2016,tourism revenue accounted for 87.38% of the total value of the tertiary industry.(3)Proposing the development of advantageous industries in Panzhihua City: In view of the problems of weak agricultural infrastructure in Panzhihua City,large proportion of traditional industries and lagging development of modern service industry,suggestions for optimizing agricultural industry,expanding industrial industry and developing tourism industry are put forward.Promote the coordinated development of advantageous industries and boost the economic growth of Panzhihua.
