Research Of Project Time Management Usage In Data Integration System

After years of development,Project Time Management theory has been widely used in the various engineering fields.Software development project is one kind of project that is very sensitive to the timeline,time management is pretty important for software development project.Currently software development projects are suffered from frequently changed requirements,development complexity that will lead to high project schedule delay rate.To address these issues,some software development method is applied in the software development projects to improve the performance of projects.Agile development method is one kind of method to enhance the adaptability against requirement change by using iterative development.However,some specific methods used in agile development model would conflict with the methods used in project time management,how to optimize the software development process in conjunction with specific software development method during software project time management process have been a big trouble for projects managers.Oracle ODI(Oracle Data Integrator)is an existing data integration,migration tools.When big data and data mining technology is getting more and more popular today,the first data integration system that could support distributed NOSQL database will help enterprises to achieve a leading position in the market.Oracle’s data integration projects is created to upgrade existing ODI system to support the latest big data formats and distributed database systems,the development process of the project will use agile development method.The focus of this thesis is the implementation of time management on data integration projects,first step to introduce project time management theory which provides a theoretical foundation for the data integration project time management,and then introduce the background and content of data integration project,pointing out the difficulties and problems of data integration project and the need for time management of project.Starting from the major components of project time management theory and explains how to implement the time management theory that combined with Agile development methods to the development process of the project to achieve project objectives.The research content of this thesis is to take advantage of the theory,tools and methods of project time management,combined with the real project development data collected during development process of Oracle data integration system project to improve the performance and efficiency of Oracle data integration system project and optimize the entire development process.Meanwhile to do a research on agile software development method,check how this software development method works with project time management method and what is the positive and negative impacts it bring to the project development process.This thesis will state the view through dissertation,starting from the real situation of this project and prove that the implementation of time management against the software development project is an effective method to improve the performance of software development project.
