To enhance the development of the three zones among the riverbanks,and establish multi-point support for city economic development,the government of Guangzhou establishes the Pazhou south land reserve project.The successful implementation of the project plays an important role in the economic development of Pazhou district and Guangzhou city.Therefore,this paper studies the project schedule management of Pazhou south land reserve based on the project schedule management theory.Firstly,we use the work breakdown structure(WBS)to analysis the Pazhou land reserve project,and break the project into corresponding work packages according to the different stages of the project.The project stages include the stage of project approval and entry,land purchase and storage stage,land leasing stage and project evaluation stage.Based on the work breakdown structure,we further subdivide the project work package into work or activities,and gives a detailed description of all activities of the project,including the activity duration,resources needed and the relationship between the activities.Then,the project management software(Microsoft Project)is used to make the project schedule and analyze the schedule by the critical path method.Moreover,we shorten the project period from the initial 689 days to 575(a total of 114 days shorten)by using the resource adjustment method and parallel work method,so as to meet the requirements of the project schedule.In addition to conventional project time optimization,we further analyze the land purchase and storage stage(land receipt and storage)of the Pazhou land reserve project and put forward some corresponding suggestions.For example,in order to ensure the smooth completion of land purchasing and storage and to maintain social harmony,the program should establish a reasonable land compensation and benefit-sharing mechanism,improve the transparency of the land acquisition process,insist fairness and people-oriented basic principles,meet the ever-changing needs of the people through innovative work modes.At the same time,we also propose some suggestions from the perspective of organization and management of the project,including strengthening project progress management training,establishing efficient,united and innovative organization,diversifying the financing channels and developing effective incentives mechanism.In this paper,we apply the project management knowledge combined with the characteristics of the Pazhou south land reserve project.Thus,we form the initial formation of a rational land reserve project framework and schedule management method,so as to reduce the land reserve project work period and understand the land reserve project work mode.We hope that this research may has some references for relevant workers and researchers.
