At present,China is in a new historical stage driven by science and technology.Developing science and technology is the fundamental way to achieve sustainable development in China.The state and society are aware of the importance of science and technology development.Therefore,scientific research has been strongly supported by the state,and the funding and coverage of scientific research have been continuously improved.Because of the shortage of resources in our country,it is very important to realize the effective use of resources while increasing investment.Project Management Maturity Assessment(PMMA)is a special evaluation method,which is used to evaluate the project management ability of enterprises.This method has been developed by foreign scholars,and has been widely recognized and used by foreign industry and academia.However,the localization of the model still needs more work.As far as scientific research projects are concerned,the research achievements of project management maturity model in this field are few,which has a certain hindrance to the introduction of this theory into scientific research project management.Therefore,we must fully consider the actual situation of our country and the various characteristics of scientific research project management,and construct a maturity model of scientific research project management in order to improve its scientific research project management ability.Firstly,the related concepts and basic theories are introduced.Secondly,it demonstrates the feasibility and importance of project management maturity for improving the management capability of scientific research projects,and chooses a suitable project management maturity model through comparative analysis.Finally,it determines the index system and index weight of this model by using literature research method and expert interview method,and carries out practical cases.
