Research On The Industrial Transformation And Upgrading Of Erdaojiang District, Tonghua City

Human civilization has advanced rapidly,and the world economy has been highly integrated.In this context,ecological imbalance caused by energy consumption and resource demand has been sharpening.During the search of a balance between sustainable development and ecological balance,countries worldwide found an effective way to achieve a win-win situation of sustainable economic growth and ecological environment balance,that is,the effective upgrading and transformation for existing industries.Amid President Xi Jinping's visit to Henan in May,2014,he pointed out that China's development is in a period of strategic importance.We should consolidate confidence to adapt to the new normal state featuring the characteristics of the current development phase of the Chinese economy,and keep calm while making strategies.Xi also systematically elaborated the “new normal” at the APEC CEO Summit 2014.At the eleventh meeting of the Central Leading Group for Financial and Economic Affairs in 2015,Xi put forward the “supply-side structural reform”,responded to “what should China do” under the new normal in economic development,thus starting the prelude to a new economic reform.In recent years,the Erdaojiang District has been stuck with the economic and social development,which is caused by its rapid consumption of advantageous resources.It is imperative for this previous “coal-mining town”,or “steel town” to realize industry transformation and economic advancement.
