Since the implementation of the targeted poverty alleviation policy in China, remarkable progress has been made in poverty alleviation in ethnic areas, and the livelihood of rural households has been greatly improved. However, the current poverty governance is dynamic and complex. In the process of poverty alleviation, there is a phenomenon of“re-poverty”,which to some extent blocks the progress of poverty alleviation, and makes it difficult to achieve the goal of lifting out of poverty and building a moderately prosperous society in all respects by 2020.Ethnic tourism villages are able to develop tourism because of their abundant tourism resources. The local farmers have gradually changed their production and lifestyle in the process of participating in tourism.Ethnic areas are the main zone to carry out poverty alleviation tourism development as well as the economic underdeveloped areas.Whether farmers have the risk of re-poverty,the livelihood stability and security issues are worth exploring. In this study,428 households?poverty households 415,out of poverty households 13?were surveyed in Xijiang Thousand Household Miao Village,Shang Langde Miao village and Longji Guzhuang Village. The paper discusses the livelihood conditions of the farmers and the degree of risk of re-poverty,analyzes the influencing factors that affect the re-poverty of the farmers, and constructs the prevention mechanism for the risk of re-poverty in a targeted way, tries to provide some reference for the stability of poverty alleviation and livelihood sustainable development of farmers in ethnic tourism villages in Guangxi and Guizhou. The research is mainly divided into seven parts:the introduction mainly indicates the research background, content, meaning and methods, and clarifies the ideas for the full-text research. The second part is the literature review and theoretical basis of research on sustainable livelihoods, poverty alleviation and re-poverty at home and abroad. The third part briefly introduces the research area and explains the data sources. The fourth part describes the construction of the index system and the specific evaluation methods in detail. The fifth part comprehensively evaluates the livelihood status and the risk of livelihood re-poverty of farmers in the case area, and clarifies the influencing factors of livelihood re-poverty.The sixth part, based on the previous research, constructs the prevention mechanism of the livelihood re-poverty of the farmers in ethnic tourism villages in Guangxi and Guizhou. Finally, the paper summarizes and looks forward to the future.Through the comprehensive evaluation of the livelihood status and the risk of re-poverty of farmers in case area, the following conclusions are drawn:?1?The livelihood status of farmers has improved, but there are still risks and impacts brought by tourism.?2?The risk coefficient of re-poverty for farmers'livelihoods in ethnic tourism villages is 0.0626,and the livelihood re-poverty risk level is moderately high?V2?.?3?The grey correlation coefficients of all indicators on the moderately high risk of livelihood re-poverty are all greater than 0.7,which have a greater impact on re-poverty.Through inductive summary analysis, the factors affecting farmers'livelihood re-poverty come from individual household differences,government-led differences, industry singles, social network risks, etc. It is proposed that the blocking mechanism of re-poverty for farmers in ethnic tourist villages in Guangxi and Guizhou is mainly constructed from three aspects:the early warning of the re-poverty in the livelihood environment of the farmers, the balanced increase of livelihood capital, and long-term convergence of livelihood adaptation.
