Performance appraisal is an important measure taken in the process of continuous and more effective operation and management of enterprises,plays a important role in the establishment of modern enterprise system.Because performance appraisal restricts many factors,including variability,diversity,multidimensional,dynamic,multifactorial and other characteristics,and is also dominated by subjective and objective factors,there is a partial view on the one hand to a different extent from the understanding of managers.In addition,the appraisal department is lack of necessary appraisal tools and supervision mechanism,so that performance appraisal is not objective enough,the authenticity,the low quality of the assessment and the results of the assessment have not been used as much as possible.How to pave the way for the strong development of enterprises and continuously improve the performance evaluation mechanism,which is the problem that enterprises pay attention to and urgently needs to solve,and need to be studied in depth.This paper mainly studies the performance appraisal of small and medium-sized enterprises in Vietnam.Based on the analysis of the typical research results of performance appraisal at home and abroad,and the discussion of the background and significance of the topic,the author discusses the current situation of small and medium-sized enterprise management and the practical application and development of performance appraisal system from the perspective of the significance of small and medium-sized enterprises engaging in enterprise management by adopting modern scientific management theory.According to the results of field interviews,the author makes a comprehensive summary based on the analysis of the current situation of the performance evaluation of small and medium-sized enterprises and the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises,a more purposeful and thorough analysis and research is carried out to find out the problems that are usually prominent in the process of performance evaluation of small and medium-sized enterprises,analyze the causes of the problems,point countermeasures,measures to solve that problems,so as to develop and adopt KPI performance evaluation in small and medium-sized enterprises nuclear methods.
