| This article is a guide for companies interested in developing and implementing a cost-effective social recruiting strategy. As the use of social networks increases, companies are recognizing the advantages of social recruitment to promote the company's brand, manage the company's reputation, and recruit quality employees. To gain a better understanding of possible strategies, I interviewed representatives of four companies varying in composition, structure, and characteristics. The results of the 11 questions asked indicated that social recruiting is a cost-effective method for companies, and that it can enhance traditional methods of recruitment. Feedback from the representatives was incorporated to create tips and guidelines for companies as they develop their own social recruiting strategies unique to the needs and wants of the companies. |
