The traditional commercial block is the historical product of the collective wisdom of the local people after long-term evolution and precipitation.It can be said that it is the concentrated embodiment of the local customs and culture and Jin merchant culture.The historical culture and architecture here can fully restore and express the history.It is very important to carry out the necessary protection while inheriting and developing the history and culture of ancient buildings.Tradition commercial block is located in the center of the local area,but under the influence of modern economic development,the traditional block has been the history of the development trend of modernization has broken the original style and features,which has seriously affected the business district of the original style,traditional buildings are outdated and are destroyed,appear a large number of modern buildings,this is the culture with a long history of traditional commercial block is a kind of irreversible damage,destruction of historical blocks and how to repair cannot return to the original appearance,the damage to the history and culture in our country is very serious.Therefore,how to do a good job in the modern economic development at the same time to protect the historic buildings is imperative.Mingqing Street of Liulin County is located in the central hinterland of Liulin County,Lvliang City,Shanxi Province,surrounded by mountains such as 10,000 Buddha Pagoda Mountain,Baoning Mountain and Fengqi Mountain in Zhou Dynasty.It was the only place for ancient Jin merchants to travel to Shaanxi,Gansu,Sui and Mongolia,and was also one of the best distribution centers for trade between Northwest China and Central Plains.The commercial street of Ming and Qing Dynasties gathers many cultural relics and historical buildings,which is one of the important sections in Liulin County.The research object of this paper is Liulin Mingqing Street,and this traditional commercial block is deeply analyzed and understood to grasp its historical background and development process,as well as the value and significance of protection.Finally,conservation strategies are put forward accordingly.First of all,the general situation of Liulin Mingqing Street from the context,historical evolution,traditional culture and folk customs and the status quo of Mingqing Street were analyzed,summed up the existing problems of Mingqing Street,and the protection value of Mingqing Street were analyzed.Secondly,it makes a profound analysis on the spatial architectural forms and typical courtyards of shops,residential courtyards and religious buildings in Mingqing Street,and discusses the decorative art features of buildings in Mingqing Street.Finally,through the study of Mingqing Street from the whole to the details in the full text,the principles and methods needed in the process of protecting Mingqing Street are put forward,and the strategies of protecting the overall pattern of Mingqing Street are put forward mainly from improving the infrastructure and street traffic,maintaining the regional culture,retaining the collective memory and rearranging the business forms.
