Analysis And Practice Of The Schedule Risk Factors In EPC Project Of JG Company

In the process of engineering project management under the EPC general contracting mode,the general contractor has greater authority,but also faces more uncertain factors and bears the majority of risks,which requires the general contractor to have a higher level of project management ability.One of the important contents of project management is schedule management,so the engineering project under the EPC general contract mode also has the delay risk of schedule target.In view of this,this paper,from the perspective of the general contractor of the engineering project and combined with the project cases in the reality,does the research on the schedule risk of the project in EPC general contracting mode.This paper determines the index of project schedule risk under the EPC general contracting mode using the literature analysis method,and then conducts secondary identification of schedule risk index by interviewing experts and combing with the practical situation of a trade exhibition project of JG company,builds the explanation structure model,makes the analysis and summary,providing certain practical value for solving the problems of EPC general contracting mode.The details are as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,significance and research methods of schedule risk of engineering projects under EPC general contracting mode,and sorts out the relevant research theories and status quo of schedule risk management at home and abroad,which lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Secondly,the preliminary risk index of project schedule under the EPC general contracting mode is determined by literature analysis method and then the expert interview method is adopted and the actual situation of a trading exhibition of JG Company has been considered to make secondary identification finding out the specific schedule risk factors of the trading exhibition hall.Finally,an evaluation model is constructed through the interpretative structural model method and a directed hierarchy chart is drawn to evaluate the schedule risk of a trading exhibition hall project under the EPC general contracting mode of JG Company,giving corresponding solutions,and summarizing the implementation effect of countermeasures.The paper does the research on schedule risk of engineering projects under the EPC project general contracting mode,providing a theoretical support for the improvement of the schedule management of project general contractors,which is advantageous for the project general contractor to set out schedule risk coping strategies scientifically,improving the level of schedule management,and ultimately ensuring the realization of the objective of the project schedule.
