| The Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School is a literary genre with a large number of readers and great influence in modern Chinese literature.In the last decade or two,with the rise of popular literature research,there have been many comments on the Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School.But how is the name"Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" named,and what is the relationship between the name of "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" and new literature?What is the relationship between the concept of "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" and the concepts of "Muckraking School","Saturday School","Republic of China Old School" and "Popular Literature"?Some historical facts are not clear enough.This article intends to start from historical data to investigate the reasons and processes of the various naming and fuzzy naming phenomena of the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School".The specific chapter settings are as follows:The introduction mainly sorts out the current academic research on the Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School.Through the ambiguity in the designation of the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" in the current academic research,and the lack of research on the naming method and naming process of this literary school,I tried to demonstrate the innovation and significance of the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" naming research.The first chapter collects and sorts out the theories about the origin of the existing "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School",and combines historical data for textual research to explore the true origin of the name of the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School":the name given by the "May 4th" new writers.The second chapter analyzes the reason for the new literary camp to name the"Mandarin Duck Butterfly School",and discussed from three aspects:the social function theory of literature,the historical evolution theory of literature,and the struggle for literary discourse power.The third chapter discusses that the new literature camp has completed the construction of the name "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" in the process of controversy with the Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School.At the same time,it discusses the development and changes of the concept of "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" in different historical stages.That is,from the grief novels of parallel prose such as "Yu Li Hun" to the popular literature periodicals represented by "Saturday",and then to all kinds of popular literature that are not new literature.The fourth chapter analyzes the difference and denial of the concept of"Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" by the literati of "Mandarin Butterfly School",and attempts to construct self-identity,put forward the concept of "popular literature",and carry out the process of self-naming.The fifth chapter focuses on the existing researches on the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School" in the fuzzy and mixed concepts,and examines the mixed use of concepts such as the "Mandarin Duck and Butterfly School","Muckraking School","Saturday School",and "Old School of the Republic of China". |
