Inside And Outside The Wall:A Study On The Transformation Of Public Living Space In Village A In Southwest Anhui

With the advancement of modernization and urbanization,the "township,soil,and people" originally attached to the rural society began to "disintegrate","the end of the village","the reconstruction of the village","the village will not be the village",and the"semi-acquaintance society" "It has become a diverse picture of village changes in this historical period.In particular,the increasing development of the market economy has caused earth-shaking changes in the traditional rural society’s agricultural production methods and population structure.At the same time,the villagers involved in them have also undergone radical changes in their lifestyle,interpersonal communication,and ideological concepts.People are paying more and more attention to their own interests and individual development,the relationship between villagers is becoming more and more alienated,and traditional public life is disintegrating.This is also the same dilemma that more and more villages are currently facing: on the one hand,the permeation of rational exchange principles and the prevalence of individual centrism,on the other hand,the lack of collective consciousness and the dissolution of the publicity of the village,the alienation of the public life of farmers.This article only focuses on the popular phenomenon of wall construction in the author’s hometown in recent years to do a local research,discuss the changes and alienation dilemma of the hometown’s public living space,and focus on the public living space represented by daily leisure.Through the statement and analysis of the spatial practice of "crazy" building fences in front of each household in the area that has been emerging in recent years,with the help of the memories of the lives of local villagers,based on the two facts in front of the fence and behind the fence,Reappearing the differences in the behavior of villagers in different periods and different public living space states,in order to investigate the changes and contradictions in the transformation of rural public living spaces,and propose practical and effective ways to rebuild rural public life.Finally,in the concluding part,this article responds to the author’s doubts about the wall incident in the introduction,expounds the logic behind the wall production,and believes that the withdrawal of state power and the rise of the market economy make the social connection of the villagers weaker and weaker,and the emergence of the wall represents The individuation of the rural society is deepening,and I reflect on the future trend of the village-whether it is based in private life or return to the village publicity.The author believes that although individuation is the only way to the modernization process,rural governance is inseparable To open up the tradition,we should draw strength from the tradition and return to the construction of the publicity of the village.
